  3. i figured out why sometimes my banshee when i rev it up high it wont go back down, my slides are sticking, its fine if you just do little revs, but the odd thing is when its not running the slides are fine? they go right back down when not running? i dont know why this is happeneing? maybe the vibration?

  7. i dont think they are sticking, i shut it off then restart it and its normal, ill lightly scotch bright them just to be sure though,
  8. kinda muddy here, pods isint to good for that lol but im having a new problem, first off i got the 27.5's in , air screw at 1.5 turns, 280 mains needle on 3rd notch, (it did not like 4th notch at all) i got the sync as close as i could by my eye, the idle screws are also all the way out for the time being, it starts super easy every time, and it will rev good a few times then once in awhile when i rev it , it wont rev back down it just stays there until i shut it off. then i will start it back up and its fine?? i already leak tested it also so im stumped here

  14. thanks guys yeah ill get a sync tool from the site sponsor when payday comes, after i get the bigger pilot jets in ill do a run up the street and piss off the neighbors and then pull my plug to see what it looks like, i eventually want a cfm box but for now these pods will do, and i have my needle on the 4th notch up so hopefully that works well
  15. i didint know that theres a new style swinger and carrier, hmm theres one on cl ive been looking at, whats different about the new one? id get a roundhouse but thats alot of $$$$ so the splines on these old axles are the same as the newer ones?
  16. i have this 87 banshee and i know i have j-arms and eventually i want to get a new frame to run a-arms but what am i able to swap but still use this frame? can i use the 4/115 hubs off the newer banshees, can i swap out the rear chain spider to to use the newer style one? can i swap out the brake rotor also? just wondering what all parts are interchangeable?
  17. i will order some 27.5's does a 280 sound about right for the time being? i did the sync by eye, i watched a video on how to do it without the tool, how do i adjust idle on this thing though?
  18. i checked my mains and there both 280 mikuni main jets, my pilots are 25 mikuni's, luckily the guy must have known how to jet, both sound about right, should i bump the pilots still? how do i adjust the idle and airscrews on these? i know its easy on ablaster but how do i do it on 2 carbs? do i just let it idle then adjust one then do the other while running?

I just got this 87 banshee, upgraded from a blaster, it runs good but it has a jet kit and i dont like using those, im wondering what main jet and what pilot jet and were my clip on the needle should be set at for my mods, ive got fmf pipes with toomey silencers, k'n filters clamped right on the carbs, and i believe thats its, no airleaks and my compression is about 115 in both cylinders at 250 ASL
