    yea, i would do a topend but i just spent all my money on buying this thing, maybe wait to rebuilt it until it drops to around 90?

    should i re-ring my motor? it has 116 psi on both cylinders and it starts pretty much first kick everytime but im wondering if re-ringing it will do anything for me?

    yep and i found out i have renthal bars so im glad for that also, just need to work on the rear end now, after 30 years its pretty trashed, someone welded the carrier to the swinger...

    i feel like a moron lol, the one carb was only getting fuel half of the time, the line was being pinched and my petcock was clogged, runs good now, my slides are still sticking at times, im rerouting the cable now to see if it helps. btw i have a twist throttle (yuck)

    one side is just completely cold at idle while other side warms up normaly, not a leak, i leak tested, im going to go reclean the carb...

    sorry if im being unclear im half asleep right now, i did check for spark that way, i was just saying i also swapped the wires. i grounded the plug to the head and it sparked blue,

    i swapped the plug wires and the problem stayed on the left side so its not electrical, im thinking its in the carb

    yep, its sparking, comp is 116 psi, im going to reclean the carb tommorow and see what happens

    yeah they were pretty nasty, i cleaned up up real nice now, the slides look in good shape, i honestly think i need new throttle cables also, im more worried about my other problem right now though

    the carbs are synced close enough for now, it was running fine other than slides sticking then randomly this just started happening when i started it

    already built a tester and leaktested, held 6 psi for like 20 minutes, yeah the plug has fuel on it i believe but ill double check

    i swapped the good plug onto the left side and it didint help, ill check the intake but i think its good..... could a clogged pilot cause it?

    yea ill look at that but now im having another problem, only right side is getting hot, i made a seperate thread for it

    ok this just randomly started happening, it worked fine before. only the right side will get hot, the left side pipe is still cold while right is hot, i swapped plug wires right to left and same problem still, only right side is getting hot, compression is at 116 both cylinders, it was running good then all the sudden i started it and only right was getting hot?
