It seems like the little oil I put on the slides have helped for now. Rode it around a little yesterday and It wasn't getting stuck. Thanks everyone for their help!

If you use photo bucket you still have to copy and paste the IMG code from the pic which is what we can't do on the desktop, on this forum only, I'm apart of many other forums where I use photobucket and the IMG code pasted into the post and it works fine. On this forum I could only paste via phone.

The spindle is what actually look bent from looking at it closer , I'm going to change that out and see. And I can only paste links on the phone also . Sucks

from my understanding if they are out of sync the slide should still not get stuck. Im sure I don't have a 100% accurate sync but I think that would just affect performance almost like fine tuning it. Both slides are at the same height and move togeather when off as I stated earlier. Once bike is running the choke side seems to stick, almost as if the vacuum created from the intake is pulling it in and holding it there. I oiled it up yesterday but it was to late to run it longer but seemed okay. its 13 degrees out now so im not even going to mess with it today.

Dave 5.0- yes that's exactly correct which is weird to me.. Yes the slides should be in the correct locations, they have the divit for the window on the carb which is visible. I'm gonna take apart the carb and make sure the hole is not covered
-
Well I did the carb sync by eye but the issue is one slider is getting slightly stuck while running only though
-
Yes the carb is in sync while off. Once running it gets out of sync and the left side carb sticks low end
-
Okay so I ran the quad without the intake on to see how the carbs would respond, one of the carbs is getting stuck it seems but only when the quad is running . With the quad shut off the carbs will be in sync With the quad running one slider will go up first and then the other one and the other one is also staying stuck a tiny bit causing the idle to stay up. I'm just confused on why this happens only when the quad is running. With the quad running and then I shut it off the one that normally sticks will fall down a tiny bit. Almost like if it was working did if vaccum or something.

the front is smoking because I washed it before so it was still wet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwTaR5aAI_Q

Well I was able to get my hands on 30 pilot jet and I installed it and im still having the same symptoms. At this point im clue less. Ill upload a video so you guys can see and maybe hear something better then I can.,

I feel like I can barely find them online Im going to try our local guy to see if he has any in. Im kind of relieved it held the pressure thought! Thanks again I will keep you posted.

okay so I did a leak down test and in 6 minutes I ended up loosing 1 psi. Not sure how bad that is. I did spray the motor with soapy water and the only spot I saw it bubbling a little bit was by the intake side where I put the plugs in. Was not bubbling a lot but im assuming that's where I lost the 1psi. Anyone have an input on this? Im leaning towards a bigger pilot jet now.
-
all that makes a lot of sense. I tried getting parts together for a leak down test but couldn't find anything for the intake side to plug it up. I will search tomorrow some more. I will order a bigger pilot jet and try that out. That's what seems like the issue is here but I didn't want to risk it because I know air leaks will cause a lean like condition also. Thank you for all the information.

There is a reason im on this forum and its because im not to familiar with quads in general. No I only have these two threads. I searched but couldn't get a clear answer to my symptoms that is why im here asking for help. I mentioned in my original post that I was getting a stage two kit from dynojet which I thought was pretty standard. The pilot jets are stock which is 25. The main jets now are 280 which is the recommendation from dynojet. Im pretty much at sea level. The temp outside now is 37 degrees. Mixture screw is in all the way. instead of the 1 1/2 turns out and that's when it gets closes to running "good" The quad Idles fine and will sit idling for as long as I want. Its just when I give it slight bit of gas it wont fall back down to idle until I rev it up quick and let go. From my understanding an air leak would cause erratic idle. A lean condition would cause it to rev up also that's the only reason im confused. I am going to do the leak down check I just figured with these symptoms it could be something else maybe. To add it looks like the exhaust gaskets are leaking a little because there is oil on the front by the exhaust ports so im not sure how much that would affect this particular issue.
-
I only jetted it because it has to get done either way since the stock jets aren't going to be sufficient. But in your opinion with the symptoms im mentioning now does that sound like an air leak?
-
I didn't do a leak down test just yet but, I did do the jet kit since it came in. I noticed the needles that were in there were off by like 3 spaces so one clip was at #2 grove and the other one would be at like # 5 grove. Obv that was not good but still shouldn't affect the low end , that's all taken care of now though. I ran the quad again and still same thing low end. It idles fine and when I slap the throttle it will come back down to idle fine. If I ease the throttle a little and let go that's when the motor stays revved and wont fall back down till I slap the throttle again. Its odd because it doesn't happen every time but even when I rode it everytime I held the clutch in it would rev up between shifts until I gave it a lot more gas to clear it all out. the mixture screw at this point is all the way in and runs the "best" that way rite now but obv that isn't good yet, Im just wondering with those symptoms if it would still be an air leak since it does idle fine until I give it slight throttle. Im just a little confused obv not sure if I Just need one pilot jet size up or what!

Yes two different wheels , one is stock and one itp, but the back spacing wouldn't affect the camber.
