  4. Ok thx. I kinda thought so cause my other bike had no pressure when pulled cap. So should I check squish before taking head off. I know it's all stock and would like to get it dialed but kinda outa my element with building engines. I'm guessing everyone will tell me to tru/weld crank which I'll probably do cause I don't want it to come apart. I've already talked to cam about my trx250r for some top end work so I'd just use them us I like that there in Oregon. I like the power the shee has now except six gear is pretty worthless so if all I do is mill my head a little could I ride for like a year before full tear down then worry about tru/weld when is do top end and some porting?   5. It's not the flywheel but in clutch cover. I guess on the 426 they went to splines. I'm hoping to file key to fit otherwise Idk what to do cause crank would need to be replaced. I love the bike but its getting pretty old and I think a smoker be nicer. Funny I didn't have problem for three years then I've been riding in sand lately instead of trails. That's how I caught what i call the banshee fever. Some random guy offered me to ride his 100 horse banshee then I was hooked. Now I got five quads even my mother in law ridin now.   6. My bike usually finds it happy spot within fifteen mins of riding but it's getting a little tiresome smelling freeze and worrying the whole time I'm riding. I think I'll try to find one of those temp guns to point at bike when I ride next. What temp do these engines run at? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah I've read about deleting them so ill do it today but first need to fix my yz400f it keeps chewing the counter balancer key so I'm going to file some bigger stock to get tighter fit. As far as shee goes I just checked level in radiator after riding on turkey day and it was below fins in radiator. I added a quarter quart to get to 1" below full. Any suggestions?   8. Thx for respond. Sorry I shoulda said I've already put billet pump and new plastic gear and new radiator cap. I filled bike three rides ago and haven't really checked level since then because I kinda thought maybe it was just dropping to where it liked to run. First time I took it out I filled the bottle in back to high and it really spit it out but since then I've not checked bottle just installed those parts and filled with pentosin blue coolant. I will check level when the sun comes up and see where it's at now. So if its sitting like one inch below top of radiator u think I am okay. Like I say the radiator is warm to touch but not overly hot. Thx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey guys I've got a problem with my 04 shee spitting coolant when I shut down the engine. My bike is stock except for k&n pods and t5 exhaust. It really doesn't seem like overheating just some drips that hit exhaust. Bike is running great except for that. I'm riding dunes at sea level running 27.5 pilot 300 main. Compression is at 124 and 125. I'm going to build a leak down tester. Will it show if head gasket is leaking into coolant. I don't see bubbles in the radiator but kinda hard to tell with vibration.
