  1. I'm noticing a lot of people running 35 and 45 pilots at my elevation
  2. I want to run alky but I'm about to give up. I have 38 to 39.5 mikunis with 116 tube drilled w/ powerjets on a 10 mil cub. It had 60 pilots and needle clip was 2 nd from top. It would run but I had to give it throttle to crank. Had to kick it 20+ times. I went to a 50 pilot and moved clip to 3rd air screws set 1 1/2 turns fired right up and idled I made about four 200 foot passes and killed it. Got it up to about 165 degrees from then on it was 20+ kicks to get it running and having to give it throttle again. I'm at 200asl 75 degrees 176 psi Any help on which way to go would be appreciated.

  5. Will my big bore small flange k&t performance racers edge pipes fit on dm exhaust flange. They fit very tight on my cub exhaust flanges.

  14. I'm having to give it throttle to crank it and hold it to keep it idling I'm about to throw my gas carbs back on Just getting frustrated.
  15. They are gravity. 38 mikuni flat sides bored to 39.5.

  18. I'm new to alky bought a set of alky 39.5 mikunis to run on my 10 mil cub from a member The carbs are tube drilled to 116 pilot is 60. The bike will not idle at all have to give it some throttle to keep it running and it seemed to be flooded with fuel. Fuel pooring from the front exhaust flanges . Took carbs apart and found they had a 230 main jet. Can anyone get me close to where I need to be with the jetting. I'm at 100 to 300ft asl. 80 degrees 176lbs compression + 10 timing. Thanks.

  20. Any one know where I can get the brass nipples for the power jets that go in the bowls of the carb or do I have to buy a whole new powerjet kit
  21. fuel is brand new and yes motor has sat for several months. I also found a severe leak in the bowl of my right side carb where the power jet is tapped in. right side did not seem to be firing at all times when I had it running.
  22. Yes I used the choke I wondering if I need to adjust the air screws? Where should I start with them?
  23. It ran good once it warmed up but when I killed it couldn't get it to crank again. I put purge gas through it and I got it to crank and run at idle for a minute.
