  1. ok, is this most likely the reason my quad has been overheating so fast though? my t5s up by my leg will get burning hot if i let them
  2. no idea about the porting, & its mikuni. im only running 25 pilots & 300 mains

  4. im at just 100ft & its around 20° here
  5. my banshees pipes where they come off the motor get hot literally in id say a minute,i havent let them but they get way too warm in 30sec. im not sure what jets to use or how far to turn my mix screws out or if i should mess with the needles or anything, & what upgrades determine if i need bigger jets ill let you guys know what i have
  6. if so where located? i need my shee looked through, i need electrical help & a broken bolt in the shifter tapped out & the hole rethreaded
  7. yeah i thought it would be a bad stator but its all the stock parts..plus stator & cdi have spark
  8. i looked at that & i really dont understand, theres a blue wire coming out of my cdi i dont see, i have 2 blue wires that are to be plugged into it 1 being for the taillight which i dont have on right now, so i probably have wires mixed up too, the wires are mostly all untaped so its hectic. also i looked into the gap thing for the flywheel, when i put the stator in i just tried linin it up didnt do any testing or anything i bet somethings off about that

  10. OH also, it had absolutely no antifreeze in the radiator thing was dry must have a leak somewher i dont know how long it was dry for but like i said i barely rode it
  11. hey guys so my shees been sitting most of the summer.. ive literally rode it about 5 times. i dont remember the exact order of what happened because a lot happened with electrical stuff breaking, but as close as i can remember in order, i had to get a new stator because it got wet, got that, worked fine, then it started backfiring out of the left side & left pipe was getting really hot, shouldntve been getting even too warm let alone hot. it lost spark on one side.. & soon after lost spark on both sides.. i got a new cdi, went to start it, & it made a deafening pop & i smelled burning plastic, the left spark plug wire got shot right off the plug & was destroyed, new cdi & coil, i checked spark in stator & cdi & they have spark, but none getting to the coil.. the killswitch looks like the factory one could it be a bad killswitch? just makes no sense i want this thing finally running so i can put hours on it
  12. Yeah i put sand down & am gonna sweep it up tomorrow, thanks hoppedup. Lol^ considering i am in highschool i guess itll be tolerable
  13. Lmao starwriter, its ok just no smoking in there for a while. I looked for 15min straight for that screw though even moved the thing & still couldnt find it! Maybe itll be easier to spot when there isnt a puddle of mix on the floor bahaha. & yeah 35:1 canister just for the shee. Thanks tho guys thats a lot of weight off my back. I was plannin on registering for a banshee forum & with all the quick helpful replies, its gonna be Banshee HQ!
