Lol thanks fellas i figured there was nothing wrong with them this guy just fixes bikes CHEAP so i wanted to run it by here before i wasted any money on some carbs.. The guy i bought it from did some work on the jets any idea what upgrade i could get my moneys worth besides porting? Im doing a trail bike but wouldnt mind it being fast incase i hit the streets another time...

Hey guys i got some mikuni carbs on (cant remember size but i know they aftermarket and kinda smaller then stock ones with K&N filters) but the mechanic thats working on it says the carbs are gonna give out soon so im early shopping for some. My question is what size do you recommend where i can get a good port and have it running hard for a decent price (not expensive/not gonna be dragging just riding fast)

Any tips when installing it or is it pretty simple?

Thats what i was gonna tell you it looks like the prev owner removed tors already cuz he said he jetted the carbs and there was no tors module on the bottom LH side... No i didnt have a chance to test it out that day cuz i got a late start on it and i had to drain out the gas it had cuz my cousin mixed it with too much oil (8 ounces per gallon ) so i gotta put new gas with less oil in it this friday is my next day off that i am going to put fresh gas and test it.... I got a question if theres no idle screw on carbs is there another way to increase idle cuz he told me before i bought it he lowered idle (forgot why) but i think thats why bike wont idle and turns off unless im giving it gas....

Johnny boy i took the carbs apart cleaned them up with carb cleaner and reinstalled i didnt find those 3 wires you were talking about only cables i saw are 2 that connect to the top of my carbs but i think those are for the throttle increase.... (The other reply was written wrong)

Lol got you ill do everything calm and easy last thing i want is a stripped screw in my carbs.... So basically im just cleaning out my carbs and then reconnecting everythin and hopefully it just needed a cleaning?

Fellas ima do the carbs this weekend what am i looking for on the carbs i know you said TORS anything specific im looking for?

Yea im familiar enough with it to take out clean and replace ima check the middle hose as well cuz that liftle bogging is killing me... Thanks guys will hopefully be running at full speed by this weekend

K i will try that then i was gonna clean the carbs out anyways but any suggestion on the clutch issue or its acting up cuz theres a fuel problem?

Hello fellow banshee ryders im new to this forum and i just got an 01 banshee thats giving me some idle problems (i think) bike turns on and rides fine only thing is bike wont idle i have to keep accelerating to keep her on.... And my other problem is when im riding and i click the clutch to shift it sounds like the bike shut off when i press the clutch.... Its has fmf pipes and mikuni carbs
