35.5 bored Keihin carbs with boyesen big bowls, Chariot carbon fiber intakes, 7 inch filters. Only reason I am selling is I went to a bigger cylinder and looking to buy 39s. $400obo shipped (502)655-7445
I bought the kit from him Monday. I should receive it tomorrow. My studs on my bottom case were stripped when I tried replacing them I had 4 break and now after spending hours trying to get them out of the case I am down to purchasing new case half or drill and heli coil.
Can I just buy the top half of a case or do they really need to be bought in pairs?
I didn't order the kit from Kevin directly bought it off here in the parts section to a guy goin to a longer stroke. The guy that ran the motor ran 500ft with a set of 39s on race fuel. He said he couldn't say what size carb would work best in 200ft. I will try to call Kevin tomorrow and ask just trying to get insight on what other people have used. Most of the tracks here in Kentucky are all 200 with a occasional 300ft. Most of the county fair races I go to with my 450 quads I take the banshee to play around on. All of those are around 150ft.
I recently purchased a Herr racing super cub 472 topend to use with my 4 mil and looking into changing my carbs. I am currently running a set of 35 Keihin airstriker carbs on gas that I ran with my stock cylinder setup. Can I convert Keihin Airstriker carbs to alky? Who can do this mod? Stay with gas or switch to alcohol? Will I need a bigger carbs to run a 150ft to 200ft dirt drags? any info would be appreciated
The crank I am running I was told was a hotrods 4 mil. The crank does say hotrods but also Ck158 hr204. Does anyone have any idea what crank this is short or Long rod?
I bought a bottom end from a guy told me it had a 4 mil stroker crank. The numbers on the crank and rod are Ck158 hr204. Can anyone tell me what hotrods crank this is. Any info would be appreciated
I am new to the banshee world and was running a hotrods long rod 4 mil setup with drag ported stock cylinders. I had one of my cylinders crack on me after I found out it was a doctored motor just to sell with 4 stripped studs. I am looking for a drag top end that would work best in 200ft dirt drags. If anybody has anything or info lets hear it thanks
I recently had a set of stock ported cylinders crack. I am new to the banshee world and was told that a nice cub top end that has been ported will work great for setup. I am currently running a 4 mill stroke. I run 200ft dirt drags here in Kentucky. If anyone has a cub or info on a cylinder it would be appreciated. Would appreciate any suggestions or info. Thanks
