why eeewwww. its grey already just has fronts cut not my style.

I know when I was struggling with jetting a plug chop was helpful to make sure I wasn't running too lean

i dont do a lot of riding at night but just wanted to see if i could avoid a problem down the road. i notice when i turn the lights on( i think theyre trail techs attatched to the handlebars) the rpms drop down at idle and low rpm. is this normal. these are the lights that were on it since i bought it so not sure how stock lights affect rpm. just seeing if i should replace them or something before its a problem

or a uncut red front. i have the rear one.

looking for a pair of heel guards. when i ride my plastics seem to flex more than i like . if you have some let me know.

i think i got it jetted really close. ended up a 300 main 45 pilot needle at bottom 1 turn out. ran great through all gears might go to 310 just to safer on main. thanks for all the help. i wonder if the compression gauge is off it ran great started on first kick. if its supposed to have more it would be pretty fast. smokes my lt250 which has some upgrades pretty bad

looks like im getting it dialed in a lil closer which is what i like to hear

i was looking up the 30mm carbs and one site said stock pilots were 40 and stock mains were 250 i think

Blunt end I mean

Pretty clean with just a little black. I was wondering if the stock needles have a blunt in or have a point. I was thinking of replacing the needles for stock

did a chop today. let me know what you think i need to do. trinity head 30mm carbs fmf gold series into turbine cores unis with no box v force2 reeds 330 mains 45 pilots air screw 1.5 out needle on 3rd groove. i dont know if its a stock needle it seems flat on the bottom. doesnt come to much of a point. should have got the number off of them to check or show a pic. 3400 ft elevation like always thanks for any advice

The carbs are round slide.

I thought I was getting a good deal when I bought it. Seems like its one thing after another with it.

does holding the throttle in while doing the compression check correct. so its not just a gasket time for a rebuild.

they say mikuni on them. sorry i thought i put that. i think they are vm30 but knot sure how that affects the jetting or if at all. would that explain the breakup on the top end or is the jetting still a culprit.

what about the compression is that not good or is it ok.

i measured the carbs as well. im pretty sure they are 30mm. underneath the choke lever 30 then a i i think then a 83 below it. then on the motor side of the carb it says h9 with 6 1 or i below. any ideas what these are and the jetting they require

is that good or bad. i was reading somewhere that elevation effects it. im at 3400 feet.
