hey guys i just rebuilt my topend had to have it bored .40 over. had the cylinders ported and .40 shaved off the head got everything put back together and torqued to specs. filled it full of fluids never started the motor went out the next morning and noticed the head was leaking coolant. i spun the motor by hand and it spit coolant out of the exhaust. so i took it all back apart and checked everything put a straight edge on the cylinder and head they both look good cant seem to figure out what would be causing it to do this only thing i can think of is to much was taking off the head or do i need a thicker headgasket any advice would really help thanks
