  1. Im not sure of what pilot. Ill have to check. So am I right in saying as the numbers go up it gets richer and as the numbers go down it get leaner? I guess ill start with the 160 and work down.
  2. Something that I got from a website are: -serial number is clear and stamped in proper -Plastic idle screw -Inside the float bowl there is a marking saying "pwk" -needles will have a code as following: Letter/number/letter -A star/"k" logo on the slide -A star/"K" logo on the main jet
  3. ???
  4. some one already said this, but try adjusting your idle. Happened to me when I was tuning. It would only start if I held the throttle a little, hence the slides being adjusted to far down. good luck
  5. Try ebay. Some sellers are cheaper than others and some offer throttle cables so shop around.
  6. I use yamalube 2:r mixed 32:1. Using it for the past 4 years. Good oil but always rising in price.
  7. not getting spark

  8. Ill check it out. good advice thank you
  9. Yes it is. That line did not really make sense to me because it would be an air leak. How do I "cap" it. Thanks
  10. I want to get an idea where should I start with my main and pilot jets. My set up will be: - keihin pwk 28mm carbs -V force 4 reeds -toomey t5's -It has wisco pistons and a slight bore but I don't think that matters -stock stroke -stock head I'm at about sea level to 200ft and I want to jet for around 60 degrees ambient temperature. Any help would be great. Would 160 main be a good start? Thanks
  11. thanks. That's what I thought. Saving for my t5's and then tuning
  12. I have bought a set of brand new keihin carbs. Me question is, is there a cross over tube on these carbs like stock? I see a pipe coming out of the carb on top of the intake and I wanted to know what this was. Also do i need to run tubes from all the pipes coming out of the carb? Thanks so much.
