Because of the extra leverage applied by the new +3 arms, I'd max out the spring adjuster on the stock shocks first.

Are your current springs adjusted to max height?

Slides on the carbs in the right direction? Did this problem come out of no where or what is the last thing you messed with since it's ran right?

I'm going with those are normal. All mine are that way. Will not leak if all the gaskets are sealing proper.

inside, so as not to inadvertently pull it off the nipple.

Yeah, sorry it wasn't a more popular site. HQ is mild...at best
HaHa. As Captain Jack Sparrow would say "But you have heard of me"

On the Banshee that's all there is.
It's all an after thought filling the non-existent oil pump left over from the street bike all those parts were originally cast for.

I love being mildly internet famous.

I have a stock banshee with FMF powercore2 exhaust 27.5/290 jets with just air filter’s no box and it won’t start Do you know what the problem is?
As in, it won't start immediately after installing those mods?
If so, check that the choke cross over hose is installed. also check the orange or black coil wires didn't get knocked loose.

This may be a stupid question, but I noticed on the JJ&A website that there are no tabs for the pinch bolts on their housing…how are you supposed to tighten/secure the carrier? Do you have to fabricate and weld tabs on yourself?
Yes, they also sell the pinch bolt sleeves.

I put zero faith in any of that online type of crap.
CARFAX included.

We'd need to know exactly what carbs to even start.
Lectrons have no jets.
-
Keep in mind with every step in grit, you have to remove ALL the scratches left by the previous grit. Work your way to at least 3000 then try heat or polish.
-
WAAAAY WAAAY WAAY WAY more trouble than it is worth. Time and materials... Better to buy new. Honest. But try a small spot (start to finish) UNDER a fender first.

If you are in Michigan, call Driveline Performance with what you're after and budget. The can set you up with all the parts you'll need. "Kit" if you prefer, (I hate that term)
And yes, stock carbs are more than adequate. If they're in good shape.

The air jet and the pilot jet are externally identical, Be sure the air jet (in the air horn) is a 1.6 (much bigger than a pilot), that is what draws air to draft fuel on start up.

I rode it for about 2 days at around 1000 feet you think anything internal is too damaged
I'm thinking you don't have stock jets then.

Fuel in the pipes means it's flooded. It will run like crap until it burns it, if it will start at all.
And yes , stock jetting with those pipes will melt pistons before you know it.

What a mess. Cool heads do not use the factory tin gasket. Do you now if the domes are cut for a 4mil build? If not, That would be what the plate and extra gasket would for (I'd guess) Next problem, I've read that head and o-rings might not seal on 66.5 bore.

Does not matter. Waste spark ignition, means both fire the same time every time.

Easy to pull the pins on a newer one and put the grey plug on, did it many times a couple weekends ago.

double check the choke crossover hose is in place correctly
