  2. Didn't notice a red... But there is a hr204 marking on the webbing. So basically is it worth sending to a site sponsor for inspection and if so which one. And if it looks good other than the side to side clearance is it worth it to press back to spec and weld or should I just fork out for new?
  3. So I pulled my motor out and and out to do a frame up build. And was checking clearances on the crank. Clutch side big end side to side is within spec but flywheel side is way out like over a mm. And was starting to rub against the side of the case. I also noticed the markings on the rod and its C.K. 121 which I looked up and I believe is a hodrods crank stock stroke. My question is can it just be pressed back together and welded or is it cheaper to just buy new? Theres no up and down play in rods just fyi.
  4. Check reeds. Mine did that and I had a broken reed.... Replaced it and it stop revving to redline apon start up. Hope this helps.

  8. Hey guys I'm at a stand still because I don't know what my next step should be. My compression is about 115 in each cylinder but I haven't checked since my last big ride. So it seems like the top end is getting worn out since I heard stock compression should be about 130. I don't know the condition of the cylinders previous owner said it was just redone and was bored to a 400cc but I don't think it was since he said it had a bad throttle cable and that's why it reved high at idle but come to find out it had a stretched cable, a broken reed and nowhere near the correct jetting.but assuming they are decent and only need a hone should I go with a port and wiscos or if its only got one bore left should I go with a hone and the vitos ported pistons and wait on the port til I get some fresh cyl? I also have a stock head so I was also thinking of a f.a.s.t. milled stock head. I had a cool head lined up to buy but now I can't get in contact with the member. Right now the mods I have are fattys,+4 timing,2into1 with a 33pwk. I like the 2into1 I mainly ride trails and spend maybe a day or two each year at a drag strip or mx track there's also no dunes in va. As the bike sits I can beat my brother's 2012 yfz450 with slip-on,intake mod and jetting.Can also beat my buddy's kfx450 with same mods. Only thing I haven't beat is my friends 250r dirtbike he has a fatty and better reeds. I just need some more power to continue betting these guys. I want to eventually go to a 421 serval but not any time soon. Thanks and sorry its long.

  11. Cool. That's what I figured now does changing the silencers change exhaust note?
  12. Was curious if one were to miss match the pipes if it would have any effect on performance or just in sound? For example fatty's with pro circuit silencers.
  13. Coil does not need to be mounted to test. Your set on ohms on your meter right? Have you tried a different meter? Search banshee electrical in google. Should find a link with a really good right up. Www.dfn. bla bla something like that. It will give you the values you should have on your coil and stator.and also tell you how to test. Good luck.
  14. Well I replaced the coil,plug wires and caps and it runs amazing. Better than when I got it. Just wanted to update one last time so anyone searching can see the problem solved. Thanks for the help

  16. I'm at about sea level with a single 33 and I run a dek needle on 3rd clip 190 main and 48 pilot and seems to be good.
