  1. Ok so i have been thinking about building a back up. was interested in maybe going to a 4mil, but I will admit i am a newbie to all of the go fast mods..this is half post about needing info and half wanted post..(got info got parts maybe?)

Mostly going this route because everything has been changed on my bike but the stock crank.

From what I've seen I should be looking for a....

-cut tranny case and good guts

    -4 mil crank

-stock jugs with a trail port

    -a new clutch setup?

-no sure on what size carbs should work?

I'm sure im missing alot.. Any help would be great

  2. If on bike it will be on left side cover..U Must take footpegs off and remove cover and flywheel..(RECOMEND INVESTING IN A FLYWHEEL PULLER).. IF YOU HAVE A stock stator mount go buy yourself a aftermarket one.. Oh and get yourself a clymer manual.. Sry bout caps

  3. U might wanna look into gettin a known brand.. Maybe doing some research on the testers.. I bought one from auto zone for around 30 to 40 bucks and it turned out that the readings was way off.

I spent 200 on a new top end for a bike that i got cheap.. Did a reading with the tester after done and it was still off. So a buddy gave me a extra one of his and it was in spec.. Either way i would have done the top end cause it just gives me peace of mind knowing whats in my bike..

  4. Well first off go get yourself a compression tester. Normal fresh rebuilds are around 120. Pull plugs and get a new set.(b8es is what i run) . Could possibly be is simple is cleaning your carbs and syncing them..

There is a cross over tube that runs between the inside walls of your carbs. If not on can cause a mess of trouble.
