It's off the ground, finally! Still waiting on all the hubs, and front spindles to come back from powder.

You can always get the part numbers off the old bearings.. Then call a bearing house, like Motion Industries (Detroit Ball Bearing).. That way you choose any quality of bearing you want.. From Chinese cheapos, to the highest quality Swiss bearings.. Or anything in between.. Usually a bearing house is cheaper too, because they are wholesalers.

This is the bike when i got it 4 years ago

The engine is a ported stock cylinder 4mil it dynoed at 67hp with stock carbs. I recently got bigger carbs, and am having smaller domes cut .. Hopefully I'll hit my target of 75-80whp this time..Nice zilla. Are you going to upgrade the engine also?

I thought the exact same thing.. After i got it back from powder. Doh!It's too late now, but there was no need to add that extra tube up front. Your electronics will fit nicely on the upper shock mount tube.
Looking good though.

These were new 3 yrs ago when i restored the bike (its a 94 and was sitting 10yrs when i got it).. i mainly recreational ride, trails, and screwing around, i like the full fenders.. Helps keep mud and water off me. The worst is having wet boxers on a 5hr ride.looks nice dude.....Are you planning on doing anything with your fenders or just keeping them stock?

I removed all the unused brackets. i.e stock silencer hangers, coolant bottle tabs, air box tabs, heel guard brackets, TORS box tab, front exhaust bumper tabs, front brake line tabs.. I removed the lower front crossmember, also the front bumper crossmember, and replaced them with chromoly tubing. I also installed a steering stop support. Last but not least, i relocated the electronics up front under the nose plastics.

Thank man! I wanted different than the run of mill blue Banshee.

Yes, i used my Dremel with a tungsten rotary cutter, and then sanding drums to shape the plastics around the R1's. I have 7/16" clearance around the chambers.. i only took enough off to fit the pipes. .

So, after riding my bike for 3 yrs with a full restoration, and 4 mil ported stock cylinder. I decided to change things up a bit.. First step was tear down, frame mods, and powder.. First pics are the way the bike has been for the last 3 years.. The rest are what i've done so far.. I'll keep this thread updated, as i go..

Yes. . But instead of ordering a few rear kits.. i bought one, and bought the front boots individually from Cascade Innovations.. the only thing i couldn't find was the rubber caps for the front slide bolts. No biggie though, mine were still good..

He's a felon because he's from MI.? That makes zero sense.. Did you forget your meds today? Or bump your head?FFStisk tisk my little black, Jesus hating buddy. Rather than continue your rant, why don't you take your felony commiting, MI ass, and move along. Your daddy Obama will be along soon enough with your get out of jail free card, phone, and assistance check. That should cheer you up.

There are mechanics in UAE .. My suggestion is take it to one of them and have it worked out... before he attempts it himself, and screws something up..Well, other than the fact he's in Saudi Arabia
But he may have to do something to get the float bowls off

Take it to a mechanic.. That's why we get paid. .
