hey guys thought i would post this up my mrs was sick of the hacked up blue plastics on her banshee so instead of spending big bucks replacing them with pink ones i decided to paint them now i am not a painter or anything like that just keen to give things a go started with the blue plastics wax n greased them scotchbrighted wax n grease again sanded wax n grease again now its ready for some action used a plastic primer and a adhesion promotor with a flex additive in the paint looks a little something like this plastic primer first coat second coat final coat clear coat so this is how it looks its a bit of a random colour just a metallic pink pearl i had mixed up the underside is also painted going to give it a few days before we fit them up to allow them to fully dry but pretty happy with the end result thoughts?

any updates mate i sold the full flights i ordered and now have the albas on the way also in the market for some shocks as i got dodged on the ekla i bought cheers

i just ordered full flight ones +2+1, wont be able to tell you what there like until the weekend (if they arrive by then) herd alot of bad things about the alba and thats what put me off

with the +2 arms will i need longer brake lines? will the stage 2 elkas be plenty? any sponsors do these kits?

just measured my yzf450 se shocks 397mm eye to eye there up for grabs if anyone wants them

hey guys after a bit of help again im just over 6 foot and 95kgs ride mostly sand dunes in australia and need some better handling out of the banshee looking into the world of shocks and arms and had a few questions with the +2 arms on the front are you getting the matching rear axle or leaving the stock one? the kits ive been looking at seem to do front shocks+a arms n not rear shock is it common to only do the front end? is it worth going the extra for long travel or not ? should i get all 3 shocks? would the +2 arms benifit me alot? or not worth the extra to be honest i wasnt looking to spend over 2k with this sort of budget what would you go for i do not race the bike so not after a 10k package but people i ride with have upgraded gear and stock just doesnt cut it thanks for any help you can provide Ben just a link to show the kind of thing i was looking at http://www.ebay.com....=item20bddf72cb

before this i had a 700 raptor se with a few mods and tha wasnt to bad i do enjoy the banshee but happy to buy everything brand new (few bad experences with second hand car parts ect) im from Perth plenty of riding spots here but always wanted to ride in the snow somewhere have ordered the bits i need so excited to see how different the bike is now not really sure what to do next, possibly shocks

what about these Pro Design Flow Control Manifolds, worth the 170 bucks or just another shiny part to bolt on? edit: the search button shows me that this is also a waste of money one company can supply me with the pro designs head kit for a decent price, would this be a wise choice over the noss one?

yeah i get the general idea on here that people think 2 into 1 sets ups are as gay/useless as boost bottles after a few emails to sponsors and the help from you guys i have pretty much decided what im going to do to start with Thanks

also what sort of power should i expect to see with these mods is it worth a trip to the dyno or just use the jets that come with the pipes thanks

the pro designs intake that comes with the toomey t5 pipes, just a foam filter for stock air box im at sea level so 21cc would be the go i think some people are telling me 32:1 bloke at the bike shop said 40:1 with better quality oil what do you guys run have sent a few emails off to sponsors to get these parts on there way

another note is i just want to run pump fuel (98ron) are the 19cc domes a bit small should i stick to 21cc? thanks

ok so looking at toomey T5 pipes pro designs intake V3 reeds+cages Chariot head with 19cc domes timing plate are the standard carbs still fine for this or is it worth upgrading now anything else i should lookout for while im pulling the bike apart? have ordered a few other bits, larger radiator/paddle tyres/new radiator hoses with these mods do i still run the same oil/fuel mix or what mix would you suggest and the same spark plugs as stock? thanks

with the cool head what domes should i get? whats the go with the crank do they snap/break ect sorry for all the noob questions very new to 2stroke motors

hey guys i just bought a 2008 banshee orange/black its completly stock and not fast enough ha ha i only really ride dunes n have never actually owned a 2 stroke before (had this 2 weeks) where should i start, happy to spend a few grand getting it up and running not ready just yet to get into stockers/bigger cc motors was looking at toomey t5s intake kit v3 reeds but didnt really know where to go from here, have been reasearching alot but there is varied answeres to each thing and peoples choice i guess basically if you were putting together a dune bike with stock 350cc (with plans to go bigger later) what would you do thanks for all your help Ben
