Hey guys im new to banshee's and got a few questions.
just bought a used 2005 that was basicly used for drag racing at local drag strips. from all the info they have on it its all vitos looks like
4mil stroker crank rods piston kit, a monoblock cyl head, 13deg domes 68mm pistons 28mm carbs and had drag pipes and longer swingarm.
now when i bought it they have the stock cyl and head, bored to .020 and the same 4mil crank rod, they also gave me the original unhurt
stock crank rods and pistons.
not shure if this is the longrod setup
questions:
what cc is the engine with stock cyl at .020 and 4mil stroker.
do the mono block cyl head combo seal good with just a oring?
if it is a long rod does the base gasket get thicker or is the piston pin just moved up?
im gona ride mostly trails and lots of hills. but im also 290 lbs not fat just workout a lot.
so far i bought fmf fatty and powercore silencers for it since its on stock pipe and syl now,
should i stick with the stock carbs? or run the 28mm
would you trail ride the monoblock setup? with the 68mm pistons
or stay with the stock cyl and 65.5mm .020 pistons? i thinkg thats right for .020 overbore.
i called and they said if the cyl is unported wich it looks to be that it should work fine for trails and such.
the oring seal really freeks me out but maybe cause im used to a 1000 hp v8 not a banshee!!!
