  1. Ok so I finished the lower end of my 4 mil just yesterday and I wanted to test fit the pipes but I still don't have pistons so I just put the cylinders on to test for the pipes. They are FTZ out of frames and they don't seem to mount up correctly, almost like the spots where the spring clips to are in the wrong place. Anyone here had FTZ or maybe not and might have a solution to my problem. I can post a picture if needed.
  2. Wiseco if you're having any thoughts about keeping it. If not buy the cheapest and get rid of it.
  3. Is it me or are there a lot of idiots in Missouri. Lol. I don't know, I just have pretty high standards when I'm buying something, usually if I'm spending that kind of money I'm looking for someone that actually know what they are talking about.
  4. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/snw/4555968648.html Oh my goodness!!!! Aftermarket fattys and stock silencers!!!
  5. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/snw/4592128380.html My latest find. First of all the title looks like a regular banshee, nothing "Bada$$" about it. The next thing is how the hell did he get 33 carbs on a two cylinder motor? Oh and the "shocks" are just the $20 shock covers on ebay, very nice Clark.
  6. http://columbiamo.en.craigslist.org/snw/4536957150.html Drag bike with paul turners? To my knowledge those are damn good trail pipes
  7. Holy Shit, if thats 149hp there are guys here running 400 and 500hp not problem!
  8. sounds like its going to be easy with this method. Thanks a lot!
  9. What do you think will be the easiest option. I picked one up for $150 still in the plastic.
  10. Thanks! Drimel im guessing?
  11. true, check this first!! then tear down
  12. Sounds like a seized piston. Time to tear down and send the cylinders off to be fixed. Thing sounds toasted to me. By the way did you use premix in your fuel? Not sure if you are familiar with the whole 2-stroke thing where you have to mix your fuel with oil. Anyways, this has happened to me just kind of stalled out and the kickstarter felt jammed. if you can bust it loose its a piston, if not its most likely rod bearing. Good luck. Tear it down buddy
  13. looking to trade for that?? i have cacade 3 piece stator cover, its chrome but does need a bit of polishing. also located in missouri
  14. Just wonder what kind of outer case modification is needed to use a driveline performance lockup. Their website says "with minimal modification to the case", so my question is what is "minimal modification"?
  15. because i dont have the other frame.
  16. Yes sir, I picked it up extremely cheap with everything needed to basically complete the build except the control arms so im almost certain im going to buy those tyson racing control arms.
  17. i bought some plastic for my yfz 450 that had detachable fenders. They are really cool, you can bolt them on you have the race cut look. They are called polisport if youre interested. Im not sure if they make banshee plastic though, but the same idea. I only gave $99.99 for the full set too.
  18. Heard the Tyson Racing builds turbo 450's and actually heard that they built one of the only turbo banshee's that actually stayed together. Now with the being said i think what i heard was the banshee was on stock cylinder, so makes some real power and go like 10mil or something bigger with EFI and a Tyson Racing turbo kit, if it stay together i dont think any other banshee would touch it.
  19. You all act like i drilled it! No! But i kinda like it to an extent but i would have never done it. If i had a choice i would have picked the undrilled. Are you sure man? Its here in Missouri if you wanted to know. I dont know you may have seen a different one but i would say there is a equal chance that it was this one. Im not really sure. And what can get sketchy? Trust me i need the input.
  20. That thing looks rough. Who can treat a poor shee like that.
  21. everyone asks that and the answer is yes, did i do that to it? absolutely not. I got it cheap.
  22. Ok so i have a suspended single arm drag frame And as you can see the lower control arm mounts are set up for heim joints and i don't like that, just preference. Anyways my questions started when I thought about having a close friend build me a set to fit what is there but i have another sub frame and i want it welded on so i thought about it some more and came up with this. Im going to get the old subframe and the existing lower control arm mounts cut off. The other subframe will then be put on and what i was thinking about doing was having the lower control arm mounts moved as far forward as possible and re welded so that these will fit: Now these can be modified to run any shock and i think thats what i will do because I'm wanting to run Marvin Shaws. The only problem i can see to this point is the shock mounts. Whether or not I will have to move them is not a problem. I will expect to have to move them since i am moving the mounts forward which isnt a big deal. Im looking for some input. This is a decently inexpensive way to get what i need, atleast i know for a fact that this will be cheaper rather than having someone build them. I just need some input or maybe even some better ideas.
  23. Using one on my yz 125 but i would assume everyone on this site is going to tell you to go with wiseco and that would be the only brand i have ever ran on my banshee. But in my opinion never had a problem with them on the 125.
