    Tie Rods

Looking to find out what tie rods to buy for my tyson racing single a arm set up. They are -2 so maybe that will help. Thanks in advance.
  7. Well a lot of the parts i said would added to my pile are now here. I did some trading and also picked up some other stuff i didnt expect to be able to get yet. So on that note shout out to Earthworker for making a deal with me. Here is a list and some pictures Marvin shaw hillshooters Tyson Racing Single Arm setup with struts 14 paddle extremes spindle mount wheels and scooter tires +14 no link round house swingarm with carrier and brake plate Tyson racing t bar powder coated pink which will change but no big deal. Also recently picked up a driveline lock up and billet intakes for 38mm Here are some pictures
  8. Still asking around $250 for a set of pipes you can get on ebay that dont have a broken tab for $200 if you can catch a set.
  9. yeah some noob dug it up so i looked and had to say something.
  10. If i had to guess i would say most likely not. Looks like the res might get in the way of the mount
  11. yeah i was going to say thats just polished. Used with a crack probably worth $150 if that. Saw a guy on here sell the cover just like that and the lock out for $100. Definitely just polished, the dots you see i believe is oxidation maybe. Might be called something else but i know if you dont have polish them regularly they will get dots like that. Atleast it seems like i do because im too lazy to polish every week. But point being thats just polished, not chrome plated.
  12. Yeah i agree. try the 30 first and work down. Ive always found it easier to work down
  13. Like i said, he was great to deal with over the phone when i spoke to him, he could answer whatever i asked. Seemed like a great guy.
  14. I know for a fact youre right on with the pilot. Fmfs like a 30 pilot, and ive also heard the 27.5 does work.
  15. When I spoke to him I was told that the kit comes with tie rods and ends along with struts
  16. yes.
  17. Good chance ill be racing in Grain Valley. Kansas City area.
  18. I also have a tig and am willing to do the work. He is charging $275. Does turbo chassis do this kind of work for the single arm set ups?
  19. Called him today. Asked about single a arm set ups. He said they would be to me within a week. I haven't bought them yet I just wanted to see what you all had to say??
  20. So the build is starting to move in the right direction. In the next week or some i will have a pile of parts and will have to start putting it all together. Here is a list of what i have ordered and whether i have received it yet. Drive lock up - bought off a member cheap, got it and its ready to go on Intakes for 38mm carb, and of course i have the carbs that i had laying around. Both jetted close to what im thinking it should be +14 swingarm - stayed with stock style. Oh well. May upgrade in the future. Struts for the front and the rear. Pistons - 795's to be exact 8" Pods on the way. i bought a new axle and throttle cable off a member pretty cheap so that will be on its way Basically here in the next week to two weeks this build will start taking shape. The motor will be put together by the end of the week and then im going to tear it all the way back down after i hear it run and have it all sent to powder coating. While it is at powder coating im going to make modifications to the frame and see what i can do. Im wanting to go anywhere from +4 to +10 out the front and move the control arms and shock mount forward. I know if i cut it in the right place i wont have to move them so thats probably what im going to do. I need to order some weld on front motor mounts so i can get rid of that frame support and put a new one in to mount the radiator to. Also im looking for a set of rear hubs. Preferably not too expensive. Thanks
  21. awesome. In person? Voice recording. Text? Screenshots please!
  22. "The frame has a small crack in the back where the carrying handle meets the frame" What the hell is that?? lol i think he means the grab bar. Wonder where he got that dyno sheet.
  23. BUMP!! SURELY SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR SOME OF THIS STUFF! MAKE OFFERS, I NEED THIS ALL GONE.
  24. he's racing down the track and getting busy
