here is a simple fact the banshee engine is as old school as it gets, 1987 or there abouts and basicly stayed old school all the way threw. i did not come in here and mention my trikes until kozy mentioned it, i simply said i wouldnt run my 2 smokes wfo for a mile. just my opinion. i also never mentioned sleds until special said you must have never rode one. yeah i refuse to spend 10,000 dollars and up for a new one. do i like old trucks, cars,bikes,and sleds for thier simplicity and they are easy to fix. absolutly. .the basic 2 smoke engine has remained the same since the 70s, with the changes really being fuel delivery, power valves. yada yada. KOZY even in the Baja 100 you are off and on the throttle, and the trikes you are talking about that raced there were far from stock including the cranks, if you want to talk about the history of trike racing lets open another thread., Jst so happens i know a little bit about vintage race trikes and how they were set up.
