Looking for a nice good shape bottom end for my 2001 shee must work great, also the clutch and stator/flywheel is not necessary
  8. DIY timing plate mod here in forums you can save yourself a few bucks if you wanted to
  9. Never rode or raced against a 450 with 7-10 g's but I have raced against an 09 ltr450 that had powercommander, dasa pipe, and a few other things and whooped on him with my mods and they aren't much I think 450's are slow lol yeah nice power all in out but nothing proves me then how that band pulls on my shee once that hits and I go through them gears I just lose all my buddies there is only like 3 banshee's where I live so far mines the fastest and the nicest thanks to the guys here on this site my one buddy has v3 reeds/same pipes and he's like why is yours faster lol I love my 2 strokes.
  10. I could think of ways to make my shee run cooler with 255 bucks lol
  11. Thats what happened to me I was riding it and it came off so must have damaged the threads when it did that.
  12. I never had a torque wrench nor a impact on mine I always tightened it by hand but this poor machine was sadly abused by the previous owner/owners, I mean hey I did get it for a couple hundred bucks so far I have done the following since buying it a few months back. Complete top end, cylinders, pistons, rings, gasket kit, reeds and cages, filter, tors removal, bearings all the way around, just installed a seal behind the sprocket, installed a new chain and sprockets, complete swing arm rebuild kit with new carrier, head pretty soon I should have a brand new machine HAHA. I also installed tors removal kit aswell tires all the way around but hey for 400 bucks I couldn't complain I guess.
  13. For the time being I tightened it in as best as I could, and then I also locktited the nut think I could get away with that, also thought about just throwing a tack weld on the end of the nut to get me by for now.
  14. How hard is this to do aswell this would be my first one I have done, I am mechanically inclined and have done a crank before so should be a piece of cake?
  15. So how do you like it though other then when you are not on the band
  16. Not to bad looking but once tightened so far in by finger, and once I use the socket it doesn't wanna tighten up doesn't hit that snug point at all.
  17. Ok got my new nut and washer for my sprocket today since I lost my old one, heres the problem it will not tighten looks like the threads might be a lil screwed up anyway to fix it for now until I get a new shaft, anyone know what threader size it is maybe I could rethread it?
  18. Yeah I figured a little bit of grease too wonder how long it has been bad doesn't leak out until I took out that spacer behind the front srpocket lol
  19. Cannot wait to test them to their fullest this sunday.
  20. Flat headed screwdriver to pull out correct, and then maybe a socket and a mallet to reinstall?
  21. Just got a seal that goes behind the front sprocket and was wondering if this is a hard thing to change.
  22. Well I been in the market for some tires for this year and was going to go with razr again cause I never had a problem with them, well I got this banshee with 20x10-9 holeshots. I was at my local shop hanging out talking to my buddy and checking through his book he was telling me what I should get cause of what kind of riding I do, the one local guy says I have a brand new set of tires I wanna sell sure enough I go and see they was Ohtsu's he said 30 and they are yours I took them cause I have heard nothing but good things about them, well sure enough got them put on 3lbs of air and wow I have to say so far they are the best tires I have tried so far besides a few paddles I have tried on other machines, but to anyone who is ever wondering about these and haven't tried them you will not be dissapointed at all.
  23. Doh I didn't even think of that lol thanks
  24. I was wondering if it is still possible to get away without having to use the bendable washer that goes between the front sprocket and the nut. Is there other ways of running the setup by using something else for a temporary thing?
  25. Thanks I will look into this I have found the post on how-to do this upgrade.
