  1. Just letting everyone know taws697 is a stand up guy. He sent me some spark arrestors before I was able to get him the payment just so I could go riding this weekend...thanks a bunch man! Pretty cool of him. Great seller...
  2. I don't know the first thing about shipping overseas, sorry. And the spark thing is so you can ride in the forest without supposedly catching it on fire. Just something the forest service here makes us do if we wanna ride on their turf.
  3. http://www.mediafire.com/view/?d6t8fdgmh7mts3m I just uploaded it for you from my library of service manuals. Let me know if this doesn't suffice. Hope you don't mind its the pdf and not the paper copy.
  4. If I'm offbase on price, someone just let me know...I just need to gather some cash from these so I can get some sparkies...No riding until I do. Thanks guys.
  5. $150 shipped to whatever zipcode in the states...let me know though, because they are listed on craigslist and stuff also so I can pull the ad down.
  6. Whats your elevation? Maybe at least put your state in your profile? Whats the weather like? What mods ya got? I ride in the rocky mountains of Colorado, but who knows what setup you have....
  7. My bad, typo...its actually a 270, but they are stock.
  8. I ride from 6000 to 10000 feet and mine is jetted tits on for 75-100 degrees...im running a 275 main, 27.5 pilot, clip in the middle and the air screw 2 turns out...most my riding is actually done around 8000-10000 feet, i just live at 6000. Basically same setup but my pipes are different. I run FMF Fatty Gold series with powercore 2 silencers, k&n no airbox lid, stock carbs.
  9. Unfortunately, the powercore series of silencers do not have spark arrestors in them, which is why I have to sell them in order to be able to go riding. I was popped in the forest riding with these and they arent spark arrestors, trust me. The turbinecore series of silencers are the forest service approved spark arrestors. Which are around $250.00 new, so I need to sell these to help with buying the turbinecore spark arrestors and I guess it'll stay parked until I can round enough enough funds to order the sparkies. =( Thanks for the inquiry though.
  10. Make me an offer...I really need to offset the cost of a new set of spark arrestors. Thanks guys...
  11. How much for the custom duct taped crescent wrench? lol...j/p
  12. Even if they're still true, I'd still at least slap a hone job on it if it's apart. But I have yet to be into a motor without having the machine shop punch it out to the next size. You'll be happy you did the minute you pickup the freshly machined parts.
  13. X2 on the new top end. I'm willing to bet your rings are wasted...may as well punch it out a little bigger while your at it. =P
  14. So it finally warmed up enough to get back to pulling the motor in this seized bike I just bought, and as soon as I get the motor out, I see someone has JB Welded a humongous crack in the lower case and the upper case has a huge chunk missing. The "awning" over the sprocket on the left upper side is just broken off...So needless to say a set of matching cases is needed. I think I found a great deal on a stock crank. Then it's just a matter of new seals, gaskets, pistons, and a trip to the machine shop and shes a shee again! I'm pretty broke with the holidays around, but if you still have them after the new year, then I'm sure I'll take em...Thanks guys.
  15. How much you pay for it? Did you have him weld it and everything?
  16. O yeah, I have a manual library over 100 gigs of dirtbike/atv/small engine/marine service manuals. So anyone feel free to hit me up if you are in need of a manual. =P
  17. Here's a link to the manual in my library. I don't know if it covers your year, but anythings better than nothing. I also have a Clymer that came with my quad when I bought it, that covers 86-06 so, let me know if you need anything specific to your year. Merry Christmas. http://www.mediafire.com/?i671pubbiclcnk5 Password : YFZ350
  18. You could heli-coil the threads, but if you have the money for cases and its already apart, why not?
  19. Im thinking this is the reason my recently purchased shee was blown up, the impeller has a few knicks in it and I was not able to turn it by hand until I got the whole cover that its housed in removed. Good luck brother, sorry to hear about the demise of your bike.
  20. Precisely the position I find myself in. Really sucks, but at least I'm into it $500 less than he is...lol
  21. How much $, and yeah, anymore info available as far as motor and aftermarket upgrades? What year is it?
  22. Congrats on the score. I just swooped up a 2000 that was advertised as a 2001 on craigslist, but after checking the VIN its definately a 2000. Scored mine for $700 but its not running and has a wasted connecting rod bearing. Anyhow, this site is awesome and full of helpful cool ass people. I'm sure you'll love the new bike bud.
