  1. Let your right arm go loose, don't hang on to it so tightly, I know it sounds fucked but you gotta lean and throw your ass around and not rely on throttle so much, pin it just as you get into the turn than half way through pin it again all while fish tailing, cut the corner on the inside, I dunno that's how I do it lol

With trails some corners are very bumpy and you got to have a good firm grip on the bars or you will be flying off it.

  2. He has been building complete bikes for regional customers. An on-line store would cater to a national customer base.

There is an adage that when someone asks. "What do you sell?" the best answer is "What do you want to buy?"

I want to buy stuff for my banshee from overseas without being fucked over by shipping prices? Can you provide that?

  3. considering Uf21 has established that all "yanks" on this site cant be trusted not even the ones that have helped him out and sold him parts, you better just take his advice on all things banshee..

are all east coasters complete fuckwits...or just east coast banshee owners

Why do you hate the east coast? Is it cause we have better women, better beaches, better nightlife, better forests, no inbreds, just better fucking everything?

  4. from syd aswell?? you hit stockton? lol

here is a link to what i was looking at http://www.hsdracing.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=822. $680us plus $180 postage to aus. Just under a k to my door in aussie dollar

Yeh Syd. Nah I dont go stockton, dont like the dunes.

Well the pipes alone is $700US from the toomey site so it definitely is cheaper than if you got all the parts new separately.

  5. G'day. Dont trust any of the yanks on this site. It's us against them.

If trails go for the DMC 916, Toomey T5 or T6. Dont waste your money buying it brand new, just keep an eye out in the 'for sale' section and make a wanted thread of what you are looking for in the 'wanted' section.

I have the DMC 916 and I would recommend them if doing trail riding.

If you're going to be doing mostly dunes then go for the T5.

Also the T6 you've been looking at, what reeds does it come with and how much is it going to cost you?

With any air intake or power change you will need to change jets, have a look in the jetting and exhaust forum for on how to jet. Since you are going to change your exhaust, also get a K&N filter.

  6. Well no.......I think you will like the 2's (I think the 4's would be perfect for the kind of riding you do)

But my point is....too many want someone to tell them what jet to run and MOST spend zero time learning how to read a plug to figure out proper jetting needs for THAT motor in that location.

This is why 90% of owners think a banshee has crap bottom end and that pipes hit hard. That's what happens when a motor is only tuned with the main jet!

I've had a chance to ride quite a few site members machines as well as many others. ONLY ONE BIKE felt spot on! His name is PETER and his screen name is BIGONTS. He is the ONLY MACHINE to ever hit our dyno and be spot on perfect on arrival.

EVERYONE ELSE is way off on pilot, needle and airscrew and at least 2 main sizes fat or lean.

Most bikes gain 7HP and WAY more bottom and mid.

So all I'm saying is.....the average Banshee owner could benefit from a little effort in plug reading and jetting practice.

This is true but certain circumstances make it hard. Like with me and my buddies, our riding spot is over 2 hours away and the elevation is 4000ft above and where we live is sea level so cant check jetting at home so it makes it hard doing a run on new plugs at our riding area then checking when we get home and we only go riding once a month or so.
