  2. I've got about 1200 bucks in going to a 4 mil. Bought a few used parts 300 for the crank, 375 HJR port job, 100 bucks new clutch, 300 new top end kit and gaskets and other odds and ends. I wish I would have seen this bike 1st. Somebody buy this thing!

  4. Did a search and been reading but kinda got lost lots of different posts and and set ups Here is what I have what do you think I need to start with on jetting? T5 4 mil (110 vito) HJR Hardcore MX port 34mm PJ's Mod Quad head custom domes (pump gas) K&N mod air box +4 on timing Elevation is between 1500 and 2000 feet (depends which side of the mountain we ride on) We have jetted a few bikes before but just stock stuff with an exhaust and filter Thanks for any help
  5. He got me 2. I bought a used DG bumper. His description was “used” but didn’t go into great detail. Only 1 pic but it wasn’t the bumper I got anyway. I told him I had 50 bucks (cost and shipping) in a 20 bumper. He is a smart ass. I wish I would have done my homework on him before I bid. Oh well glad it wasn’t much money. His that asshole still a site sponsor? BTW I sanded the bumper and spayed it with bed liner in a can. I didn’t want a black bumper but it doesn’t look half bad. Hides most of the shit wrong with the bumper that Ray didn’t disclose. WAIT TIL YOU SEE THE CHRISTMAS present I’m going to send that low life BOTTOM LINE fuck him find another seller I'm calling the BBB just for a FYI to other buyers
  6. I’m putting in my 4 mil crank; I went with the 110mm Vito. I’m using a Mod Quad Head and custom domes. Which are the best pistons to use? I know lots of people loves Wiseco are they the best?
  7. What is does everyone mean by stock modified transmission? What is the duneable override tans? What about the star shift mod? Last question for the evening…whats the best all around clutch with HD springs? sorry for the newbie ????'s gotta learn sometime

  9. How much difference is between each level of porting? I know most places advertise something to the extent of “trail” at the bottom and “drag” on the top price end. Would I be correct in thinking that they each make better/more power in different areas of the powerband? I’ve got my 4mil crank on the way! I emailed Kevin at HJR, told him my set up and he recommended his Hardcore MX port. From a search of the posts on the board and talking with members everyone has been very happy with his work. I’ve also heard nothing but nice things about jeff at FAST. .02 anyone? thanks

  13. 4 mil questions…please help I just bought a 02 Shee with T5, 34mm carbs, K&N, a few other little things. Looking at going with a 4 mil crank and port job. Adding a cool head with 20 or 21 mm domes. Bike has a new top end (5 hrs or less). If I get the 110mm crank do I have to swap pistons? I know I’ll have to with the long rod crank…what are to pros and cons of the “long vs short”? Far has the port I’m just going to call up whomever I choose (yes looking at people that support this site) tell them to details of my set up. Will be doing some riding in the woods most of the time and will make a few trips to the dunes a year. I can’t ride every weekend looking like I’ll be riding about once a month year round. Also from what I’ve read I’ll need to Adv +4 timing. Set up should be a very good bang for the buck, have a little better low end and great mid power. I think the 20 or 21 will give good compression numbers (we have 93 gas) I can get 100LL (av gas) in town or if I need 110 its about 15 mins away. I’m fine with using pump gas unless I need to go to race gas for some reason. Thanks for the help, this is my 1st Banshee. Had a CRF250R and a 660 Raptor on a “Shee” now and I love her. Overlook me Im new, its late and I’ve been drinking a little. When I do my best work 
