4 mil questions…please help
I just bought a 02 Shee with T5, 34mm carbs, K&N, a few other little things.
Looking at going with a 4 mil crank and port job. Adding a cool head with 20 or 21 mm domes. Bike has a new top end (5 hrs or less).
If I get the 110mm crank do I have to swap pistons? I know I’ll have to with the long rod crank…what are to pros and cons of the “long vs short”?
Far has the port I’m just going to call up whomever I choose (yes looking at people that support this site) tell them to details of my set up.
Will be doing some riding in the woods most of the time and will make a few trips to the dunes a year. I can’t ride every weekend looking like I’ll be riding about once a month year round.
Also from what I’ve read I’ll need to Adv +4 timing.
Set up should be a very good bang for the buck, have a little better low end and great mid power.
I think the 20 or 21 will give good compression numbers (we have 93 gas) I can get 100LL (av gas) in town or if I need 110 its about 15 mins away.
I’m fine with using pump gas unless I need to go to race gas for some reason.
