Late model 2007 SE to 2012 Craptor FTW. Throw a wider axle, and some +2+1 a arms on it and it will handle much, much better, fixes the high-centeredness, which is a big issue on all Raptors. I haven't found a problem with the stock swing arm, depends on weight I guess.

I would be more concerned about blasting media in the bearing than powder...

That's only 8 miles... You shouldnt have any troubles as long as your bike is tuned right...

Lol, I guess you could say that. It now has a little over 9,000 miles on it... Not bad for a 2010 Raptor 700, minus the 2 bottom end rebuilds and 6 top ends...

My buddy had about 6,500 miles on his RZR2's, don't hook quite as well as the Holeshots, but his lasted a very long time. Mostly gravel pit, sand, and pavement miles. Something to look at if you're really concerned about the life of your tires...

+1 on that. Hook great, but get chewed up so fast... From how mine are wearing so far, I wouldn't buy another set. Fronts are awesome though.

660 and 700 frames aren't near to the same. '01 Raptor 660's had aluminum tubing for the sub-frames, which are known to fail. The 2002-2005 subframes will bolt on a 2001 main-frame.... And aren't as prone to breaking. I would do a Banshee motor in a 450r frame long before in a 660 frame... The 660s ride like crap unless they have a good amount of money tied up into suspension mods. JMO...

I myself am a huge fan of Flexx bars. I have a set on my Craptor 700 along with a Rox Anti-Vibe riser. It makes it much easier to ride more aggressively and for longer periods of time.
