  7. Now I got the new crank in with max load & TZ bearings and a full c clip on the crank and now the crank doesn't want to rotate smoothly while in the cases. When I put the primary drive gear on (without tightening down) it makes it even harder for the crank to move. Any ideas what the problem is?
  8. Never ran methanol jd. And tricked I wasn't running straight cuts on that motor or a max load on the stator side. I thought I was. But my new crank I'm putting in has maxload & TZ bearings. As far as coolant leaking I've had the same engine ice in my bike for over a year and its been at the same level in the radiator. I'll have to check my cub cyl tho to make sure water jackets aren't leaking anywhere didn't seem to be. I was surprised when I opened it up and seen a lil bit of rust.

I actually know a guy that ride a banshee with a prosthetic leg. He wheelies for days as well lol his leg hasn't slowed him down 1bit. Keep us updated on your situation, any help u need I'm sure nobody will hesitate to assist you, including myself. We're all banshee boys here at heart. God speed
  11. I had this crank for a few years. Ran it in my old 421cub and when I went bigger I just swapped it into my supercub. Never had a problem with it before. But this is the first time I put a TZ bearing on it. Rods and everything on the crank are ok. I didn't have them done, same rods that originally came on it. Bearings all move smoothly. I guess the TZ just gave out for some weird reason.

  13. Lol I got a fresh crank I'm dropping in now. Rust and carbon build up is normal from what I was told.
  14. All the bearing still run smoothly, rods & wristpins are normal, no play. The little gold piece is what caused the nicks in my dome and piston top. Pretty sure that a piece of a TZ bearing if not mistaken? Only thing gold in the bottom end I can think of so I didn't have any detonation issues.
  15. I check behind the flywheel to make sure it wasn't the stator bolts or the flywheel key sheared off. Everything checked out good. I got the crank out the motor, it seems i have some minor rusting on the crank. Guessing I sprung a leak somewhere? What would cause rust inside the crank area? Pics in few min

  17. Also on the clutch side piston & dome has some very minor pitting from detonation I'm assuming? I'll post up pics in the am.

  19. I have a ticking/clicking sound coming from the stator side crank area. Could it be bearings going bad? Motor has maybe 20/25 hours on it if that.
