Like I said earlier not doubting your mechanic skills just saying that these machines are a different beast and you can spend more time and money fixing the wrong parts if you're not familiar with the Banshee its self.... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR SEND IT OFF TO A REPUTABLE BUILDER!!!!

Very true I will say from experience I had Kevin at HJR do my port work and left my stock unwelded crank and now maybe 40 hours ride later I am needing a new crank.... if you know how to spec out the stock crank you can tell if its still useable enough to weld and keep goin or if you need a new one... so from experience do the crank now specially if you aren't the original owner of the bike and have no idea how many hours that crank has... To answer your questions again porting alone will make it feel like a new bike no comparison to pipes its a whole new ride worth the money (I like HJR or F.A.S.T.) FMF pipes hit great on the bottom end so yes they are good pipes (Im not a fan of the silencers not mounting correctly at least on mine) but there are better pipes out there

Texas2stroke I see youre a new member here, some of the guys on here have a ton of knowledge and can help you out immensely as long as you listen to their advice... call a builder doesn't matter who every site sponsor has their own loyal following on here so they are all pretty good choices and send your stuff out and have them spec it all and give you a laundry list of things you need... IDK your background experience with motors but the banshee can be a temperamental bit#@ some times and can screw you up if your not familiar with this particular machine .... my .02

In elkas defense he originally asked for stock length then changed to +4 yes it was acknowledged but maybe the wrong paper got sent over to the shop.... they deal with more than 1 customer at a time im sure, atleast they didn't refuse to fix the mishap.... the email thing who knows why they did that? could be several reasons but it does look unprofessional. my .02 cents
