  1. I knda thought about that also. Just trying to get some ideas for now. I was also thinking about trying to convert the front end geometry to be similar to the 250R? I have to be difficult ....I know!
  2. Ok, before you start flaming me let me explain. We've recently acquired a good running blaster and we need something to showcase our swaybars on. Now this wont be a baddass fastest quad on the planet. Just something we can attract some attention with. Now my crazy idea is to fab some used aftermarket A arms and a yfz450 / banshee rearend on it? Stock 450 front-end is plentiful and much wider than the stock blaster. Thats what im aiming for since it'll be a flattrack TT quad.
  3. Well first test was a blast......since I don't have an oval or tt quad , I just threw it on a trail beater. Found some of the roughest trails around and had a blast! We were jumping it, riding over tree's, and doing a bunch of flat corner testing. It was so cool to see our design in a working part. Im so excited! we're taking it to a local buddy's place to test fit it on some otherquads he has on hand next wknd. im so close to having a sellable part!
  4. I did see that on the schedule. Probably out of my way but ill check into it. Thanks!
  5. Well, just an update........ Ive got my first machined part from my machinist and its nice. One more to go and I get to play "Crash test dummy" . Were well on our way to having a finished bar to test.
  6. Ill be at the Batavia race in August. Its the last 2rounds of the EDT series.
  7. Please tell me this is not the first 2stroke youve ridden......... It could be just the 2cycle power band thats coming in. You say its at the top of every gear rite?
  8. Ive always taken mine to one of those UPS shipping centers and they weigh them and give me an idea on rates. I usualy ask for the max according to distance then i know itll be no more than that. Ive shipped two dirtbike wheels and tires mounted up,from Ohio to Arizona for $65 . I think they weighed 64 lbs?
  9. I aggree but what do you do when he pulls you over with your new stuff and says its too loud? Theres always a dickhead that hates the offroaders that hides behind his badge. You probably just found him.
  10. Man! I think Id have to fight the issue before I baught new silencers.
  11. I know theyre all diff. Thats why Im asking for an assortment of sizes. If it is square or rectangle itll fit on any round tube.
  12. Could i get some measurements on upper A arm tube thickness? Stock, aftermarket, I need them both. I need these to figure out how big to make the a arm clamps? Thanks a bunch in advance!
  13. You should put a lighter power band in it so its not so violent........ Lol
  14. Correction..... Aug.23 - 24 is the last round. Ill be there if I can get the date rite. Lol.
  15. Ive met with our machinist and an engineer and i should have things finalized soon. I have most of the materials in hand already. Its strong, quality, stuff thatll be more than sufficient for the job. It will come in a couple lengths. ... And have the option of A arm clamps or the standard down links. Ive got a special secret part on it that Ill let out later. Im pushing to have the first batch done in no more than a month. You guys that have hooked me up will have dibs first. I have a couple guys in mind that have offered to test them. I ll offer those bars to them at cost. The next batch will be up for grabs as soon as I get some feedback.
  16. Go for it Shawn. I was looking forward to being at Pine Lake in July. .... But everyone I know is getting married this year and that had to be one of the wknds!!!!! My partner will be there to help promote my bars and get to know some people. I will be at the last round of EDT on Aug.27 - 28. Its in Batavia NY. You should try to make that one.
  17. Yes I did. Thanks a bunch! I have been up in Tinesta Pa. for a while and theres no cell signal for me there. They are a big help for sure. Your location says Michigan.... I thought you were in Canada?
  18. Hmmmm....... Its just like a pussy. Stand the pad on end and poke it with a finger. The further you penetrate the fiber the looser it is. Lol. Youll need a tight sewn wheel to start with the brown and let up on the pressure. That final hayze will come out just by easing off the wheel. With a soft wheel use the white, lite pressure, enough compound. You never want too little compound. Itll dull the final passes in a hurry.
  19. Nick, Ive watched as many of your vids as I could find. Last spring I was finishing up my banshee and I was trying to get an idea on setup. Unfortunatly I had to sell before it was finished. The wife had a heart surgery annd We needed the cash. Ill keep everyone in mind that has offered. Any feedback I can get will be greatly appreciated.
  20. Thanks Shawn. I will need some feedback on these so I may be looking you up. Im quadless atm but Ive got something to tinker around on. Do you have a bar currently? Do you plan on going to Pine Lake this year?
