Thanks Cam, So going from my motor (mods in sig) and upgrading it to a 400pv or 421 serval. Which would be the cheaper route?

Im not looking for a huge motor, Also they were talking about the 485 i believe, not the 421 or 400.

Thanks guys, Springer would it make a good dune motor? Like a general hill shooter and duner? (more casual duning then hill shooting) Or is it more intended to be a drag motor. Another thing is, Do you have to run race gas or can it be set up for pump?

Question in title, How do powervalves work? Another question I have is, How is trinitys 400cc Cheetah kit? How would you compare it to the 421cc Cheetah?

Figured out the problem Jereme, didn't do what you said but my right carb float is a little off. It must be letting fuel into the cylinder which might be the reason why it takes a few more kicks to start and why it smokes more then normal (also more then the left side) at first. Ill adjust it and report back, A little backstory is basically the pin holding the float mushroomed a little bit so I bent the float a little while getting it out, I must of not noticed it while replacing the plunger and plunger seat.

@Jereme Nah it isnt going out of the overflows, i checked for that. @Jl yeah i know its not the needle, im not even sure what they are called correctly, I have seen needle seat, plunger, etc.

Hey HQ, Having a problem with my carbs. I would go out for a short ride, come back. Turn gas off, go in house. Back the next day and I realize that some fuel is missing from the line, turn the gas on and you can see it fill back up, as if my bowls were empty. So im assuming the needle seat isn't fully closing? The slides are fine, needle seat is new, and needle seat valve is new. (not sure what they are called exactly, heard they are also called plungers.) Another thing is im not sure if it is both carbs or only one. It runs fine. Stock carbs btw.

Is vitos that bad? What about their pistons? The forged super stocks I believe...

Thanks guys, its not the look of the quad im worried about, its the headache im going to get FROM looking at it . Ill prob start looking at the 4 gallon tank, Im not sure how much the stock tank holds is it 3.0 or 3.5?

Quick question guys, Since this is my first time out i just thought of something, Will i need to rejet going to dumont? I live in Victorville right now. 280 mains. Not sure what pilots. Needle is either in the middle or one down. I know it is rich right now because that is how it was set-up.

Me too, i just shoot for the fun of it. Once the real draggers show up, im out. No point in trying to beat those guys It is still intresting to see the guy in the four seater rail go right across the dune while a drag just started. Heck he even throws in a wheelie just to piss the guys off.
