  1. yes sir i took all the grounds off and scraped them down to bare metal so its not a ground problem it had good spark then it went to no spark ill check the hose i hope thats the problem i dont want to tear my engine back apart but i will if i have to
  2. i re did my whole banshee powder coated the cylinders and clutch cover put a new top end gasket kit in it and new clutch cover gasket powder coated the frame swingarm everything on it thats metal i put the engine in it today and now spark....unplugged all the throttle junk and had spark put the rest of it together and it wont run now and i dont have spark anymore...im also leaking coolant i cant tell if its coming out of the head or the base of the cylinders all bolts are torqued at 20 ft pounds is it possible for it to leak out of the base gaskets? yes the rubber plugs in the cylinders are in...i think the cdi might be junk so im plugging mine into my dads banshee and seeing if it will start with my cdi on it if its not the cdi im thinking the stator which i really hope not....im more worried of the coolant at the moment so any help with that is appreciated
  3. its my banshee i was having problems with the tether isnt hooked up i need to do that i found the problem though it was the stupid throttle system stuff i unplugged everything and bam i got spark i am ordering the throttle kit to eliminate all that but now when i turn my key switch off the bike still sparks any idea
  4. like i said the tether isnt even hooked up right now i dont know what to do i scuffed the grounds up everything is hooked up right its really getting to irritate me especially cause i was suppose to have this thing running last night and be on the trails right now
  5. i put both in my dads banshee has a tether and its set up where you cant use the kill switch you can use the key to shut it off or the tether
  6. i re did my whole banshee took the engine out of one frame and it was running beautiful and now it has no sparks they guy before me did something to bypass the igniton and i put a new one in i dont know if that has something to do with it or what i never touched the stator any help would be appreciated I WANA RIDE!!!!

  9. i love how fast i get replies on here one more think if the seal looks pretty good should i re use it cause i really want my bike back together ive re done the whole thing and i wana ride it it would be another week if i ordered a seal
  10. in the bottom of the cylinders theres a rubber strip for something is it removeable so i can powdercoat my cylinders? also how do i remove the vent that the hose by the water pump goes through on the clutch cover and the seal and bearing for the water pump impeller? if i turn my sandblaster down so not as much sand comes out and stand back and mask off the spots that cant be blasted would it work is i sandblasted the cylinders and clutch cover
  11. i am powdercoating my clutch cover and my cylinders glass black and i was wondering what is the safest way (for the engine parts) to remove the old paint from them?
  12. looking for a nice set of used pro circuit pipes with not a whole lot of dings and stuff if you throw silencers in great but i will buy a new set if you dont have silencers for them
  13. i bought the novus scratch removing stuff and did everything it told me to and it didnt work worth a ****....so anybody have any ideas on how to remove some scratches from plastics? (besides buying new fenders with i will do if i have to)...they are just light scratches
  14. i dont think i need wheel spaces im pretty sure u cant go over like 60 inches wide and they lowering kit widens it out a little bit i think if i just put the pro circuits on it i will do pretty good but next year i will definently have v force reeds and stuff...im only running against 400exs and stuff and i smoke them with my bike and its stock...idk this will be my first winter ice racing and like i said i have a lake to plow a practice track on and plan on practicing every day after school so im hoping to try and make a name for myself
  15. i found a really nice set of used pro circuit platinum pipes they are in really good shape anybody have any experience with them?
  16. im powdercoating my banshee clutch cover and my cylinders and i got all the gaskets but i need a kickstart oil seal anybody know where i can get one? i found one on babbits for 3 dollars but they want another 18 dollars to ship the damn thing
  17. i dont think i will have to widen it the lowering kit i have widens the front up to 2 inches out so im good there anybody have experience with fmf fatties? what kind of reeds do you recommend im thinking v force reeds...and theres a bay a quarter mile down the road from my house on lake michigan and racing doesnt start till january so im planning on plowing a track out there and practicing every day after school until racing starts
  18. hey guys im building a banshee right now for trail riding but i also bought a lowering kit for it so i can ice race it its alll stock is it really necessary to mod it all out? how do you guys think it would do stock? id like to pipe it eventually buy dont know what pipes to get
  19. someone suggested that i should drill and tap a grease fitting into the housing anybody ever do it? pic please?
  20. lol what all do i need to take out of the housing to powdercoat it? just the outer axel bearings or is there more on the inside that needs to come out

  22. i am powdercoating my swingarm so i want to powdercoat the axel bearing housing as well i was just wondering what the best way is to remove the bearings inside the housing without messing them up also if anybody has a used set of aftermarket a arms they want to sell let me know
  23. just making sure i get some answers from a variety of people to see what they think i seen one guy on here that did his when i powdercoat some more stuff tuesday im just gona throw in the junk one and see what it does the grease shouldnt be a problem if i clean it out good i took all the rubber off them and cleaned them all up
