I like to do things myself. Im 16 and only work part time so dont have the money to pay a pro to do it. Especially when I have a dad who has been a mechanic for 24 years and all the tools I would ever need. Just looking for some pointers.

Have a 95 rotax 583 motor and also have an extra banshee frame id like to build a drag bike out of. Any tips on stretching a frame? Pics? How does the steering get set up? Anything you can tell me will help. Pics would be appreciated

Banshee is black with a red tank cover and radiator cover. I want them black. New black plastics are a little pricey. Was wondering how paint would hold up if I bought the right kind of paint for plastic.

Got a set of chrome d and ds off ebay today. My bike already has a new set of fmf fattys on it but my dads 02 banshee has these same exact pipes and his is the most ignorant sounding bike ive ever heard in person. So I picked them up for 200 bucks. Anybody else ever run these pipes? Also anybody interested in my fmfs? They have no dents whatsoever and are powdercoated black and silencers are chrome.

Have a set of really nice fmf fattys. They are powdercoated black and have absolutely no dents. Silencers are chrome and were just re packed. Looking for 200 obo.

97 banshee re done from the frame up. Frame is all powdercoated along with swingarm, hubs, cylinders, and alot of other stuff. It has a chariot performance cool head with 19cc domes, powdercoated fmf fatty's with chrome silencers, brand new tires on front and back (sedona bazookas), 2 1/2 inch wheel spacers on back 1 1/2 on the front, high capacity aluminum radiator, nerf bars, irate flame grill, eyeball covers for headlights, flame seat cover, k and n filters on carbs (i have airbox along with all the other stock parts), i have a lowering kit and sway bar for it, resevoir shocks for the front, tusk front bumper, new axel bearings and front wheel bearings, TORS eliminator kit on the throttle, tether kill switch full frame a arm and swingarm skid plates. Im not sure what else there might be more but thats all i can think of right now. Bike has always been stored inside and it has always had regular maintenence done to it. I always washed it after it got dirty and greased the whole bike whenever it needed it. Like i said i also have all the stock parts that go with it. I just had it running for the first time since november and it started in 2 kicks. I am selling because my dad gave me his 2002 banshee and now mine just sits in the garage with a sheet over it. Im looking for an oem set of aluminum rims for the front. also looking for a good set of used tires that would be good to stud for ice racing.

I have k and n filters on my banshee and one oof them has a hole so its time to be replaced. What is better? K and n or uni pods?

My banshee is stock bore and im looking to rebuild it this fall before i ice race this winter. Do the superstock pistons really give u more horsepower? or would i be better off going with a set of wisecos? And would you guys recommend ordering oem gaskets and using them instid of aftermarket?

i get payed tomorrow and im ordering all new tires and a full skid plate and a new gas cap for my banshee. after that im saving my cash till the end f summer. A stock bore and stroke cheetah cub cylinders has been on my wish list for a while as well as a wiseco piston kit. If i bought soe wisecos and cheetah cub cylinders will it make a big difference compared to my stock pistons and cylinders right now? i also have a chariot heat will that head work with cheetah cylinders?

Today I was riding my banshee and my gf and her step sister were behind me in a golf cart. I stopped to move a branch out of the way and they weren't paying attention and rear ended me but it wasn't really even bad. I could barely feel them hit me. When I got home I noticed the axle and bearing carrier were crooked I pulled it apart and the swingsrm and everything is all straight but the bearing carrier and axel want to stay Crooked for some reason.

im going to flat track my banshee on a dirt oval track and was wondering what kind of tires i should get because the originals on my bike are bald. im 15 and only make 250 bucks a week and just spent 200 on a chest protector,boots,chain,and brake pads so i really dont have the cash to go buy a set of holeshots unless i wait for a while. my buddy had a set of kenda scorpions on his 250r and said they hook up really good. im thinking of kenda scorpions on the back and kenda front max on the front? anybody know anything about these tires

ill be racing a banshee on a flat oval dirt track. Im thinking of getting kenda scorions i hear they hook up good my buddy had a set on his banshee. i just need to know if i should put my sway bar on or not

okay i have a couple of questions about flat track before i start racing. what kind of tires should i get? i hear if you get a pair of cheap square knobbies and cut them horizontally in the middle that they work good. I have a sway bar for my banshee and i was wondering if i should put it on for a dirt track or if those are only for ice racing.

Naaaa I don't wana be ghetto with my banshee haha I like having front brakes....ill take them apart tmrw and clean them and see what's up

They dont completely lock up they just start to drag. Im not even using the front brakes at the time it does it i will just be driving down the road or a trail and ill notice that they are starting to hangup when i havent even touched the front brake. Then i can let it sit for a while and come back and it is completely fine. Im thinking about getting all new brake discs and pads and rebuilding the front master cylinder anyways hopefully i can fix it. Building a sandrail right now though so i dont have the funds to put much into my banshee i wanted to buy a full frame and a arm skid plate for it and put new discs and brake pads on it and rebuild the master cylinder but ill do all of that this fall when im done with the other project.

it does it to me atleast twice a week ill be driving front brakes will be fine then they will just about lock up so i put it away and then the next day i go to drive it and its fine...its really making me mad anybody got any ideas

i scrubbed my shock covers three times and still cant get them clean one of the front shocks leaked all the oil out so thats pretty nasty and i cant get it clean.

Whenever i ride my banshee some gas comes out of the lines on the side of the carbs and the lines on the float bowl. My guess is that its because the floats are bouncing around when im riding. Is there any way to adjust them?

i do like the sound of a 350 cub tho my bike is a trail bike and an ice racing bike i dont need a 421 or anything but the thought of standard bore cubs intrigues me what sponsor would you suggest contacting?

i think i will just send my cylinders out and have them worked on and ill throw in a new wiseco top end while im at it i got a chariot head with 19cc domes so i got cool head covered just need some cylinder work done going to do it before ice racing next winter how much does porting cost and what would be a good BHQ sponsor to send them to?

im going to ride my banshee this summer and rebuild it this fall before winter and ice racing starts wondering where i could could some aftermarket cylinders that are stock bore? also what do you guys think of namura pistons? i bought a piston kit from namura for a utility fourwheeler i got and havent had any trouble with it and the gaskets seem to be good i got the top end gaskets from namura on my banshee
