  2. hey there i just got pipes. they are fmf fattys and power core2 silencers. they will be here wed and i have a local atv drag on friday and work thursdy so time is short. i need help i have a shaved head (.030") +4 timing advance prodesign filter air box lid removed. vforce3 reeds. my pilot is 25 my needle is third clip and my mains are 290s my elevation is 1200ft what jets mite i need ???i need help i dont have time to try 5 different ones maybe just a couple....i have 320s to try. is that maybe too big maybe not big enough ideas please.

  5. i had the machinist take .030" off it just ssems like it gained hardly anything if anythin on the bottom and seems like it lost some on top......what does raing the compression do exactly?? i really need pipes wat do you recomend?

  7. ok i had head shaved and i think it was a waste of money absolutley no gain on bottom end and it ost some top i fell what was "suppossed" to happen? i dont have pipes yet and the lid is removed and timing advanced +4 i know adding pipes will drastically improve the bike but why didnt shaving the head help? is it because i dont have pipes?? and opinions??
  8. elevation 1200 pilots 25 airscrews i think are 1 3.4 turn out....it can idle all day n plugs look fine so i dont think the pilots are the suspects though
  9. ok first....im having the head shaved .030" the guy called and said its done cant wait to get it on, will there ba a noticable difference?? second...im not happy with my jetting....the only mods as of now are vforce 3 reeds +4 timing prodesign foamy and the air box lid remove....ok my pilots are stock, my needls is stock on the 4th clip down(one richer than factory), and my mains are 290s....if i beat the balls off its perfect nice milk chocalate color, cleaan....B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! just average riding they almost look carbon fouled.....by average i mean trail riding 1/4-3/4 throttle.....should i move my needle back to the middle?? or should i try dropping one on my main?? i dunno what to do it also was jetted when it was 85 and humid now its 75 and nice. btw i am runnign vp110/93 pump 50/50 mix and i run cator 927 50/1 any help or input would be helpful
  10. ok i want some opinions.....what it the top 5 bottom end pipes on the market....NOT TOOMEYS and no drag pipes....i do ride forrestry property sometimes but maily private or tracks and road.....now i know by putting abottom end pipe on you lose a little off the top....thats fine i just dont wanna lose all my top end. but i like the torque for mx and woods riding and dont like the power band kicking in at 7K rpm lol

  13. there was prob only a teaspoon that got in there and half of it went down is that even aenought to worry about??
  14. its not the oil i worried about, there isnt any amount of oil inder the piston i worried about the coolant eating away at the crank bearings but i not sure if it will or not...or hurt the cylinder wall under the piston

I recently had the head shaved on my shee and i thought i had all th coolant out of my head and when i took it off some whendown on top of piston and i scrambled for a towel but by time i got too it some of it must have seeped down past the rings? what should i do? i dont want to hurt the motor but i really dont wann disassemble it....what should or can i do? what about dumping like a tsp or premiz in there??? any help would bne greatly appreciated thankyou

  17. hey there a little bit new to this but can anyone tell me what all has to be done to shave the head .030? i had it done but i havent put my shee back together. is there anything special i need to do? also im torn which pipes to get im all about the bottom end....i ride woods and mx no dunes occasionaly drag at local track any info would be appreciated.
