  1. i didnt touch the needle at all today but turned the air screw out another full turn (3 turns total) and the bike ran much better. ordering pilots tomorr

  3. ive ran bear claws, holeshots, and realtors all in 22", no problems
  4. your best bet would be try try a raptor out and see for your self.
  5. a 450 frame would be best i think, ive seen rappy frames break, dont know if its a common flaw or not.
  6. imo if you were do all the work and pay out for some fab, theres better rollers you could use. i might of missed it while reading but are you going to be keeping the rappy?
  7. im gonna raise my needle up a notch today and see if it helps, i can also turn my air screws out another full turn for now until i get some smaller pilots.
  8. usually around 25-30 degrees cel. tryed getting my elevation from google earth and got 80ft, not sure if thats right. the 160 main feels good up top. sizing pilot jets is pretty new to me and 52 is the smallest i have now, ill have to play with my air screws and see if theres any difference, im at 2 turns out now. let me know how you make out, seems odd that were both getting hesitation with the diff size pilots. have you tried moving your needle clip?
  9. awsome good to know. i was going to play with the needles tomorrow but if my pilots are that far off than ill have to order them first.
  10. ok right on thanks, i didnt know the pilots effected performance higher than 1/8 throttle or so
  11. and forgot to mention air screws are 2 turns out.
  12. 52 pilots, there def too fat but the bike will idle with the idle screws turned all the way in.
  13. ya each side of the seal look completely different so make sure you install them right
  14. hey guys just gettin my cub dialed in and was looking for some opinions, 35mm carbs with 160 mains and clip in middle of needle. im getting a strong hesitation right before the powerband. is this something that can be fixed by adjusting needle height??? if i rev it past the hesitation it hauls ass all the way to the end of the gear.   15. got mine wide open now! it was the white retainer piece not set into its groove. thanks everyone for the help
  16. interesting. i guess theres alot more to gettin these slides up than i thought, i'll have to go out to the shop and take a look at that
  17. ya i hear ya, i have not been running the bike this way because i need to get this figured out first, thanks for the input
  18. the springs are def binding up in mine i can feel it, its odd yours still wont go with the fast springs

  21. ya put a dab of sealer on them so coolant dont leak out of them
  22. thats right, def gonna be one of my next upgrades
  23. x2, dont try to pry them out and beat the new ones in, you will wreck them
  24. runnin a pretty new oem now but i would like the extra power for lights, ill wait for some feedback on here first
