if your a rookie with it, get a clymers manual, it will teach you a lot.

the biggest problem is i believe it is oxygenated. which will make it run leaner.
I know i ran some MS109 i had left over from racing in my banshee and actually melted the pug appart. and burned up.

elevation effects compression as well, since it is air density.

do yourself a favor, scope around the jetting forum for a while, im gonna guess you dont have much carb let alone 2 stroke experience.
If you put pipes on it and didnt rejet for it, that is your problem.

you can pump it at small airports. its self serve. 100ll is all i run in my banshee. they dont really want you driving up to the pump, but you are more then welcome to walk there with a gas can and fill it up.

put a thin layer of silicone on the reed gaskets before you put it back together. it should solve the small air leak you have there.
make sure you let it dry before running.

i have been running 100LL my entire bikes life. 100ll doesnt have ethenol which pump gas does.
Never have had a issue, shit i brought 40 gallons of LL to hatfield trails when i went down there lol.

look up the post, (i believe its pinned to the top of the jetting page) with the information needed.
There is a lot more to jetting then just mods. is also depends on elevation etc.

honestly the mod mods the closer you have to be on jetting, stock 2 strokes are pretty choked up, so the elevation wouldn't effect it as much. I would honestly pull both carbs off, clean them good, through the pilots and everything, and see how it runs. Then see if it runs better or worse with the choke on vs off, and it can help narrow down which way you need to go.

I agree as above.
Try to stick to a OEM stator, they seem to work the best.
Say no to yfz suspension, they arent valved or anything for the banshee geometry. you can scope out ebay or the forums and get some shocks fairly cheap.

if you are bottoming out, spend that money having someone set them up properly for your weight and suspension.

for the most part the it isnt bad unless you go to the really hard trails, they arent groomed nearly as nice.

i went a year and a half ago with my banshee. Just be prepped it can be really wet there. otherwise it was great, as long as you stay off the black trails, they are a little too tight, I do recommend a gas can, some trails can be a long way, or an oversize tank.
Only thing i experienced trouble with, is a flat tire. dont know if it was because of not enough ply in the sidewall or if it was just a fluke

if you are concerned get the i think its haynes book, i forget the name, but it tells you everything, a good bolt kit comes with everything labeled and is awesome.

i have a big farm, so thats pretty much all that i ride, i went to hatfield mccoy traisl 2 years ago, good riding there.

i would prolly go down 1 tooth in the front, or up 3teeth in the rear.

I have some, they have the grill part removed and they are the white housing style.

you dont have engine oil, you have premix, and you have gear oil. If the right side is really smokey and the left side isnt, then you either have a air leak, or a bad seal sucking in the gear oil and burning it.
