Just seeing what piston size I have. On the top it says 100, im buying a new top end tomorrow and I dont want to buy the wrong size. Any help would be great. Also, some of the old piston broke off and went into the case, whats the best way to get the shards out with out opening it up. Thanks guys.

The dude didnt know anything lol. But the shee is apart as i speak. A clutch plate broke off and got caught in the gears and thats what was stopping it from starting. Then my buddy broke a piston lol. But its all good. Im ordering all my stuff monday.

I am taking apart the shee tomorrow guys to see whats going on. I am hoping I just need a new top end, wish me luck.

No typo, paid 500 cash. I have a buddy who works for a local dealer. Im bringing by him today and he is going to give it a look for me. Also buying a service manual today.

thanks bro. My pockets are not deep at all lol. But i picked it up for 500 and needs some love. Going to start tearing it down this weekend and put a fresh top end in her. Does anyone know about the pipes on it. Do they come black or did someone try to paint them. And whats a good top end to put in.

Its an 05 but i know all year shee's are the same.

I just talked to the guy and got him down a little more (1300). I dont have a compression tester so what is another good way to check it. He said the compression is good but who knows. Its a far drive down there and hoping its worth it. If not, ill keep looking.

Hey guys, im new to the banshee world. Have had many 4 wheelers but not a banshee. Anyways, im going to look at one tonight and its all stock but the guy said the clutch is slipping. The bike looks great from the pics and I thought the price was good (1500 for an 2001). Is it a pain to change the clutches or should I pull the trigger.
