  2. i bought my banshee last year it had new pistons in it and i looked up in the exhaust port and saw the right side of the head was pitted but i knew the piston wasnt. so i tore it apartt last night because i was going to get my head shaved but noticed this. what happened? and should i run it or what. also this is the cylinder with 115 and the other has 120 it has ssts vforce 3 +4 timing and rejetted.
  3. i have an 03 shee sst pipes vf3 reeds, +4 timing. im building it for drag racing and am looking into a 4 mil crank. are they any good? like big power difference? also do i need pistons? or can i use my stock ones with stock bore and porting. let me know asap. thanks. also looking for more drag mods so if you can give me some more thatd be helpful. thanks
  4. i have an 03 banshee i have the lowering kit for front and back. vforce 3 reeds, fmf sst pipes, and the pro armor timing plate. and 290 mains stock needle and position. i was just wondering as far as jetting and timing number like +4 or whatever and how i shout set it up. like low in front and back or raise the back up and lower front? dragging this weekend so just wondering

  6. i have an 03 banshee sst pipes vf3 reeds +4 timing. have 290 mains. ran great before i got a new throttle cable started first kick. now it starts for a second on one cylinder barley runs then quits even if i pull chock out. and wont start again unless i push start it. only does it when cold then starts great after compression is 110 and 115. and i have everything stock except that. helpp!!!
  7. i bet you have low compression. do a compression test. if its below 100 you need rings. but thats referring to a stock bore and head if you have head or cylinder or crank mods it should be higher. do a comp test.

  10. i currently have an 03 banshee motor is stock carbs are stock becides 290 mainss. i have fmf SST's vf3 reeds. and +4 timing elevation is close to 500 ft. i need to know if ill need jetting change when put toomey t5s on it. thanks

  12. what are the best mods i can get for my 2003 banshee so i can drag on the weekends than go home and drive it onn the trails. i already have a stock motor with VF3 reeds fmf sst pipes and+4 stator plate. going to get pods but wondering also about if there good with water? bacause idk if there supposed to get wett.
  13. ive been told that my banshee was running too rich because of the slides were in the wrong carb. how do i switch them?? and i checked my choke it isnt sticking

  19. hey i need quick help. i broke a throttle cable on my banshee and it ran great before this. so i have 290 mains. air screw is out 1.5 turns fmf ssts. vf3. +4 timing. i got a new throttle cable and put it together and its way too rich. what happened?

  21. no i put a quart and 1/4 in it, its oiled
  22. well the other day i was climbing a hill and i got to the top and it started squealing when i would let the clutch out. and it still vibrates at 2500 rpm. i dont know what would do this. i took side cover off and nothing wrong in any berings or seals. all motor mounts tight, i dont get it
