  2. Thanks for the tips. I ran them this past weekend and found that 6psi was the best,after i droped them down to 4psi and then it started biting harder and bogging the motor down.
  3. What are the pros and cons of running nitrous on a 4 mill motor? How much can you get away with safely?
  4. I noticed the other night when i switched the reeds out to the V force 3 reed valves that my intake was ported and it looked very nice. I was thinking of doing it myself but the builder had already done it,might be some of the reason mine runs as nice as it does.
  5. I have a trinity 2 into 1 carb setup that was on the bike when i bought it. The motor in mine is a stock cylinder 4 mill with a 38mm trinity 2 into 1 carb setup with power pro inframe pipes. I'm not a fan of it but it was on the bike when i bought it but i will say that im very impressed on how hard it pulls through every gear. I can stand the bike up in all first 4 gears effortlessly and pretty much have to lay on the tank when i drag race it. The only run i got against another nice banshee was a buddy of mine. He has a pike's peak motor that is more of less a port and polished 350 that runs very strong. Make a long story short i can walk him on the sand drags by a bike length in every gear,if i make a clean pass. He is very good on his since he has had it for years and hardly ever goofs up on shifting. I'm not saying it is the best out there but if you dial it in right it will run very well. I'm going to soon change it to twin 34 mikuni carbs for a 4 mill cub motor and convert the carbs to alky. The shop i bought the bike from said they dynoed it vs. a dual set of 28s on one of the shop owners bikes and said that they made almost the exact same power up top but the 2 into 1 made more low and mid range torque but that is there word and i was not there to see it.
  6. I have a 2011 raptor 700 with a big 3 kit on it for dune riding and the banshee will be strictly drag. I'm probably going to get the OOF pipes for what i plan to do with it. There ain't much sound restrictions in southwestern arkansas and NE texas lol so im going to go with silencers. Thanks for the input!
  7. I'm going to order a set of small bore shearer pipes next week and sell my power pro in frame pipe setup. What are the pros and cons between the shearer in frame vs. out of frame small bore pipes? I know the out of frame will make more power but how much more? This bike rides in the back of my truck so how is clearance with the out of frame? The bike has a +8 swingarm going on it so it will be a drag only setup. This is a stock cylinder 4 mill motor setup that runs strong for what it is and i plan to build a cheetah cub 4 mill later in the year.
  8. I got a new set of 22x11x8 skat trak triple buff b2b tires on a set of 8" douglas blue label wheels and i need to know what you recommend on tire pressure for sand drag racing? Stock cylinder 4 mill,+8 fireball swing arm,205lb rider. I'm thinking 4-6 psi but im not exspert on this so im leaving it up to you.
  9. I have a stock cylinder 4 mill setup with some power pro small bore pipes on the bike now. I bought the bike last friday from a local shop that was selling it for a guy,he needed money and droped the price down to sell it so i could not pass it up for all of the mods on the bike. I want to swap exhaust out for a shearer exhaust setup and im trying to decide whice way to go. The bike sole purpose will be for sand dragging and not playing around. I have a fireball +8 swingarm and skat trak 10 paddle extreme's coming. I plan to start building a 4 or 7 mill cub motor this summer with my bonus check so this motor is a beater for now but im very surprised at how hard it runs,so the pipes will need to be for now and future build. Small bore in frame drag pipes or small bore out of fram drag pipes?
  10. I ordered a +8 fireball swingarm for my banshee and i need some advice on what length chain and brake line i need for this setup? Thanks for any help. The bike is a handful and the faster i can get all of this ordered the safer i will feel.
  11. This bike sole purpose is drag racing. I bought it because of the price and what was already added to the bike but i did not like some of the things the guy had done on the bike but it was not mine and i bought it the way it is. I'm going to switch to the dual carbs,V force reeds and possibly jump the CCs up more 7 mill or so with a +8 or +10 swing arm. My question is if i go ahead and get the shearer or CPI in frame pipes because of future mods would they be a bigger help the setup that is already on the bike? I have a 2011 Raptor 700R with a big 3 setup for trails and woods riding.
  12. I just bought a banshee with a new 4 mill motor and the bike was setup for trails and motocross in mind,so the guy had a 38mm 2 into 1 carb setup on the bike. I have never ridden this type of setup and i was surprised how well it ran. It has pro circuit pipes on it now. I am thinking of going back to dual carbs and thought about buying the shearer or cpi pipes. I think either would be better than what i have now what do you think?
