  1. I'm going to the Badlands tomorrow April 7 2012. Is anyone else going?????????????
  2. Gas could be pouring out of the overflow hoses while your riding. Floats could not be set right or dirty needle and seat.
  3. I checked my floats and cleaned my needle valves. It's still leaking!! It has a slow drip coming from both carbs.... WTF
  4. I had same problem. It was clogged pilot jets.
  5. Gas is dripping alot out of the overflow on the right carb? It does it when idleing and when motor is turned off? What is the deal with all that? Thanks guys!
  6. I wouldn't go anymore than 4000 for it. When you do simple mods like pipes and filter and timing plate , tires, etc it's gonna run you another 1500 or so. It is nice owning a brand new machine tho!! Good Luck.
  7. Fixed it.... pilot jets were clogged. Ended up putting 30 pilots and 330 mains, Thanks guys!
  8. I got my top end redone and put all back together today. I started it up and it would only run both cylinders on choke. When I shut off the choke it would only run on 1 cylinder!!! Pull choke back out and 2 cylinders fire. Choke off 1 cylinder won't idle without throttle on. HELP!! Am I too lean? Or is my pilot too small? Pilot clogged? .10 over, T6, NOSS head 21cc domes, Vforce 3 reed cages, open air box k&n, 800 feet above sea, stock carbs, 27.5 pilot, 320 mains... What do you guys think???
  9. Just got my new top end in with noss cool head. What premix should I run for break in? I always run Yamalube 32:1 normally. How long should I ride it the first time it starts? Thanks guys!
  10. I just talked to David Noss and he said you don't need dowell pins for this head. I guess my friend from Yamaha was wrong. Thanks for the help guys!
  11. Yeah I'm pretty sure Noss would of provided them if they were needed. My friend refused to put the head on without them. So I will just wait until I get a 100% sure answer.
  12. Hi guys, I know they use stock studs. But my friend was over and he is a senior mechanic at a Yamaha dealership and he was giving me a hand doing my top end. When he was looking at the head, he said that 2 piece heads are suppose to have dowell pins that act like guides when holding the two pieces together? Maybe he's wrong I don't know? He shoulded me the little holes in the head where hje said the pins sit. So I guess I will call Noss tomorrow and see what they say.
  13. Hi I tried installing my Noss head this evening but I don't see any dowell pins in the package? It's a 2 piece head and it has holes for the pins on the head, but NO dowell pins included? Maybe they forgot to give them to me? Or do they not come with any pins? Anyone know. Thanks.
  14. I'm not going to mod it anytime soon. Yeah I heard the same thing about the T6 pipes also. I bought the bike with them already on there. I forgot to add that I have a 4+ timing plate too.
  15. I want to buy a Noss head for my bike but don't know what size domes to get? Bike is .010 over, T6, Vforce reeds, open airbox, 700 feet above sea level. Are 21cc domes to much for my setup? I would like to stay on 93 octane. Any thoughts guys??
  16. I took the top end off my brothers Banshee today. How do we check to see if the crank is any good?? Just wiggle the connecting rods?? Please let me know guys!! Thanks.
  17. Hi guys. I did a compression test on my brothers 05 SE and the compression was 110 psi and 115 psi on the other side. We are at 800 feet above sea level on a stock motor with just pipes and reeds. Can he ride it like that all summer? Or is it too low to make another summer of riding? Any thoughts? Thanks!
  18. Oh okay!! Thanks for the info!!!
  19. Hi guys! I'm new to working on Banshee's and I have a clutch question. In order to get to my clutch plates, do I need to remove the whole side of the engine cover? Or just remove the 3 screws holding the clutch cover?? Can you get to the clutch plates by just removing the clutch cover is basicly what I'm asking. Thanks for the help!!!!
  20. Hello guys. I have a 2006 Banshee with about 30 hours of ride time on it. I have PC pipes, V force 3 reeds, stock carbs, K&N filter with open air box, everthing else is stock. I'm thinking about getting a dune/play port done and maybe adding some 21cc domes and a cool head. My question is if i get the porting done, do I need to get my crank welded? Or will it be okay? How much horsepower will I have then? Thanks guys!!
  21. Spend the extra money and get some skat trak haulers. I run 10x10 with 10 paddles. My bike just has pipes, reeds and an open air box and I turn 10 paddles with ease.
  22. I am selling my stock bumper off my 2006 Banshee. Only 10 hours of ride time on this bumper. Pretty much like new condition. $75.00 OBO email me for pictures. [email protected] Thanks.
  23. I'm from willow springs 60480. My brother and I ride the badlands, silver lake and fox valley also. Anyone ever try the place in rockford called rocky glen??
