there is no parking brake on it i adjusted the adjustment by the bars and nothing changed gas has been on itll idle all day great and if the bars are turned all the way right she revvs great but middle and left it wont rev like a rev limiter is stoping im hoping its just the cable but it may be somthing simpler from what ive read its what the parking brake switch would do but there isnt one there

ok the problem was the tube going across i ended up having to switch the carbs with some other stock ones my buddy had be cause i messed with so much and couldnt get em back to right we put the other ones on with 280 mains in it it started up ran great then when i went to give it gas it almost seemed likke it was hitting a rev limiter at like a quarter or eighth throttle unless the wheels r turned all the way right it runs n revs great. I tried re routing throttle cable helped for a few seconds then got worse tried, I adjusting it from the adjustment by the thumb throttle and it didnt make a difference. I ordered a new cable tonight i just wanted to see if u guys had any ideas or knew of any other adjustments

any chance ud be interested in gettin rid of the single carb setup ive been looking for one i just dont got a whole lot to spend but let me know

ive only rode one with pipes once like 3 years ago and loved it i just traded my 400ex for this one like 2 weeks ago and i love it i just wanted a lil more so i found some nice used pipes 2 days after i got it lol n they just got here today. My budddy has a kx250f bored to a 285 with a pipe that id really love to shut up but i think he might be a lil more of a challenge

i wish it was that nice here, everyone else here is ridin sleds, but we have an awsome flat track plowed out on my buddies lake i cant wait to hit up remind everyone what a banshee can do and kick some 450 ass no one around here has had a bansheee since before the 450s came out and i think they all forgot how fast they are once theyre piped

thats what i figured but i also wanted to leave my lid on but, it is 30 degrees out right now so i figured with the low temp and the lid on 280 should still be good right?

i definetly will thank you i really hope its that i cant wait to ride it and see how much better it is with the pipes so i guess i may have to put the 280 back in if it is the connector tube or do u think the 260 would be good?

dynatek cdi boysen reeds n foam uni filter im gonna check the choke tube tomorrow the quad is down the road at my shop so stock pilots should be good? also i still have my tors system where should the knobs ontop of that be at as far as turns out thats idle right? its my first banshee and ive only ever had 4 strokes

i just got my dmc 916s today put em on and put in 280 mains and couldnt get it to even start found some 260s locally only thing available and put them in kicked it it fired once turned it off took it outside and couldnt get it to start again i cant figure out whats goin on i need help do i need pilots? whats goin on did i forget something putting it back together? help please i spent all day working on it and didnt even get to ride it thanks, Jimmy

ok thankss how do u like the dmc's, i got em for a good deal nd they sound like theyd be good for my kinda ridin 65% woods trails 25% fields n 10% back roads i could really find a whole lot on them just that they sound crazy

ok thank you very much im gonna get the 27.5 pilots and i think a 270 and a 280 main n see where im at. Do u guys think the dyna tek makes it morre thirsty than bansheeboy's which has almost the same motor mods. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction at least i didnt buy the 310s n 300s i was about to buy last night

im thinkin ill start with just 310 mains n work down will that work or should i go higher i dont wanna be lean off the start

ok trying to order my jets before my new pipes come in i got a set of used dmc 916s, they should be in in a week or two my quad has a dynatek cdi set on curve 3 which i think from what ive read is +4 timing not sure thought, it also has boysen reeds and spacers, boost bottle and i think a uni foam filter what mains should i order and am i gonna need to change my pilots. I dont know whats in there now i got it a week ago i traded my 400ex for it and i think im in love and i checked the vin and found its a 98 not a 96 like the kid said i feel kinda bad this things mint n my 400 was not. Thanks for any help Jimmy im at between 1500 and 1800ft evelvation and temps r between 20 and 50 now and 50 to 90 in the summer i couldnt find a similar setup on the jetting form and wanna make sure i do this right
