  1. so this should be hooled up since i have the tors still on
  2. its most likely your parking brake wire by the clutch they come loose, but thats what it dose the bike will idle but when you give it gas i dosnt do a thing jggle the wire and see if it will go or disconect it
  3. could be i dont know it was tied to the brake cable i could be a brake light switch i havent checked the brake lights
  4. I was Looking to find why my kill switch wouldnt work somtimes i figured it was a bad ground because the previous owner painted the frame well i came a cross this on the right front by the radiator it was pluged in and the little round thing is like a pressure with or somthing it clicks when you push it in. i was just wonder what this was and if its important .
  5. try turning it to reserve the fuel filter could be a little cloged the same thing was happening to me i pulled the peacock out and it had some dirt on it and its bin good since
  6. soo im pretty shure its a bent fork i was adjusting that shift shaft screw and watch the shift star as i was shifting it, it would click half way in then you move it and it would click in the rest of the way and the more i adsuted it it would do it in differnt gear so it seems like the fork is bent. so i will have to pull the motor and split the case yay! : ( and the drum retainer was tight
  7. so tomaro ill check it out again and see if i can adjust the ecentric scew. to get to the shift star and drum retainer i have to remove the clutch? and it nothings loose ill have to split the case and probly find a bent fork. it just seems like somthings loose because sometimes it stay and somthimes it dosnt and it never did it befor well ill see thanks for your help
  8. ok thanks ya i was thinking about getting one
  9. wille i had the clutch cover off it was shifting into neutral fine and i didnt see any thing to tighten i didnt pull the clutch off though any ways i put the cover back on and sometimes it stays in neutral somtimes it pops out there is a little bit of play side to side with it i think thats normal though
  10. so i got the clutch cover off and the shift shaft moves in and out idk if thats normal but i moved it and shifted to neutral and it satyed in i donw see anything to tighten up though
  11. thank you so much is there any pictures or diagrams around that i can look thanks
  12. well after reading around more it seems more and more like the eccentric screw but i would like to make shure it thats it and with side it on the kick start side or the shifter side
  13. im new here but iit happend to me my fuel filterin the tank was cloged so it wasnt geting enough gas take the fuel line off and turn the gas on and see if gas comes out and try it on reserve to or it could be a fouled plug or a dirty carb if the fuel filter is clogged it will probly run for a little then shutoff and take a wile to start back up bc the fuel isnt getting down to the carbs fould plug it will most likely back fire and keep poping or a bad reed witch means you wont get any compression in the cylnder and you will feel sair coming out of the intake try new plugs and clean the filter in the tank it 2 philip screws
  14. well after reading around more it seems more and more like the eccentric screw but i would like to make shure it thats it and with side it on the kick start side or the shifter side
