  4. I ended up sticking with alky, but thanks!
  5. Are the 39's setup for gas? Billet bowls? I'm not sure I want to run alky.
  6. Would like 39 40 or 41mm carbs. Let me know what ya got.
  7. Looking for 39mm or bigger carbs. Let me know what you've got. Thanks.
  8. Ya live in MI expecting it to be cold in the winter right? We'll be lucky to have good ice by Feb. I've been lookin forward to it too!
  9. I was told use 21 or even 22cc domes. I just don't want to have to buy like 4 sets of domes to figure out what works. I was hoping for as much input as possible, especially now that I need like 12 more posts to use the swap shop. Lol. Hopefully more people will chime in and share their knowledge as well. Thanks.
  10. I've got a 10 mil cub that was on alky, I want to run on 110 or 115 octane. I will probably be running 39 or 40 mil carbs, timing at +4 or +5 v3 reeds and shearer oof's. What I need to know is what size domes should I be running? Kicking compression was at 185 190 and I think that was with 18 cc domes, but that was set to run on alky.
  11. I live in MI and during the winter, I was always told its kind of a rule of thumb to go up one or two main jet sizes and bump ur clip down one notch. Better to run rich than lean!
  12. I used a scotch brite pad and wd-40 and quite a bit of elbow grease before. But if u have access to a buffing wheel u can get some polishing compound and that works a lot faster.
  13. Send pics of nerfs to amatthewt@yahoo.com
  14. What are the best shops in michigan other than rdz that i can talk to about my options. Where is the best place to buy parts? I see rdz offers a couple of motor kits, and override trans. I'm thinking about going all out, but i really don't wanna just scrap everything i've got and start over from scratch.
  15. So i have everything that u could possibly bolt on for performance on my shee. It's a 66mm bore, pro d cool head, 34mm carbs, v3 reeds, k&n, moose racing clutch plates and springs, clutch lock up, + 4 timing, and cpi inframes. The cylinders i just put on are full drag port by RDZ. I got it broke in, took it out for a few passes, and after the fourth pass it was making all kinds of racket. Shut it down. Kicked it over by hand, and it sounds to be a main crank bearing or connecting rod bearing. I haven't torn it down yet. I would really like to know if i should just repair the damage if possible and put it back together, or go for a 4 or 7 mill. I don't know what is involved in stroking the motor. Can i just use everything i've got with a spacer plate and a new crank, or what? Thanks
  16. pm me if interested in cash buy or trades $300 shipped
