Check to see if it is a new engine or just a rebuild, if they did the work ask them what size piston they used this will indicate wether it's new, and will let you know how much life you have in the cylinders. I'd go for the older model if the above checks out, as it's nearly half the money and has an exhaust system on it. There's no difference between the two apart from different coloured plastics.

Because everything comes from America, atvs aren't big business over here so there aren't many aftermarket dealers. There's no huge turnaround so the shops don't get distribution deals so they just buy what they need from the states. I think mcaff here is using that as an excuse to sell his bike though, engine parts aren't that hard to get over here. By the sounds of it he's a 4 stroke get on and ride it guy who can't be bothered getting his head round a 2 stroke. No offense to the guy but some prefer the easy life.

That is the problem though, you never really get back what you put in. The guy who sold it to you did, don't get me wrong it's very clean but you could of got a lot more for your money. Even the road legal ones which are generally worth a grand more top out at £2500
