I guess I'm just an oddball because I specifically told my builder to not waste any time on the stuff that dosen't matter and to spend it where it counts ....aka no "glamor shots " of the intakes. I'm more concerned on going fast than my intakes "looking " fast. I ended up with a 100hp GAS 421 cub, and a 142hp/74tq SuperCub. Idgaf what the porting looks like...is it fast?

Makes sure you remove enough of the stand off that you'll be tapping. If you don't the screws can't lift the slide far enough.

Found all this stuff while cleaning shop out. Cases 125.00 plus shipping and PayPal. I don't know anything about these cases other than what's in the pix. Sidecover , waterpump,and gears come with them. I see where someone repaired the start of some chain wack,but didn't break off. Mating surfaces look good,but I'm not going through these with a fine tooth comb or cleaning them up. That's why they're so cheap. Buying used alky carbs is one of biggest risks you can take on a build. Used cranks too .

Make sure everything is clean and in spec after you do the idle screws. It'll be hard to start if the slides are sitting too low as well.

What's the jetting now? What makes you think the jetting is off now?
