2000 Banshee(have paperwork) Red and black plastics un cut...Maybe 3 hrs on rebuid. Bored .20 over. Wiseco Pistons, Drag Ported cylinders, CoolHead w/ 18cc domes(race gas)also have 22cc domes to run pumpgas.Adjustable timing plate, Billet waterpump impeller, VF3 reeds, Uni Pod filters. CPI Inframe pipes. Full Flight Chrome +2+1 A arms. YFZ front shocks. +2 Rear axle Full frame and swingarm skid plate. Douglas Blue labels all around with Razar II fronts and Razar radial rears $3500 Also have a set of race cut blue fenders, Skat trak 8 paddle haulers on Blue label rims brand new. All my extra parts, gaskets, blah blah... Getting out completely 631 739 4620 Quad is on Long Island NY

Ok did the plug chop today... Trying to post pics but I got to where I feel it's right on or atleast close..... 155m 48p 1 turn out on air screw Needle second from top BUT.... Still having an issues with the idle.... I've did the carb cleaner trrick and no leaks anywhere... It will start and idle high about 1/8 throttle and when I just blip the throttle it idles down almost to stalling then creeps back to 1/8 throttle.... Sometimes it stalls as well when I blip it.... Also when slowing from riding speed it seems to stay at a high idle...... More pilot? Drop needle? I'm kinda stumped..

Hey guy, Put a new set of 28 pwk's on the shee today and just cant figure which way to go...... Bike starrts fine and idles a little high....Tap the thottle and it idles down almost to stall then idles up again Thats just one issue NEXT When taken for a test ride under full throttle it feels like its hitting a rev limiter and the topend is flat.... while testing i noticed that when given 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and held there, no WOT...it ran like a raped ape..... Heres the setup stock cyl stock stroke drag port CPI inframes VF3 UNI foam pods +4 timing Coolhead with 18cc domes(using sunoco supreme blue) 28mm pwk 165m 52p n68 needle on middle clip 1 turn out on air screw Im on long island so im at sea level and tuning for about 35-50 degrees as of now

Thanks guys, I talked to my friend who did the port and he said 28's. He said he raised the exhaust port 2mm and opened up the windows and added the booster ports, The transfer ports are untouched. So maybe its not a real"drag port" lol.. Im looking to go higher on the compression also prob like 180 or so. Will a bigger carb be needed for that alone? Just looking for a little more info before i make a decision.. THanks again

Hey all, I am trying to figure out what carbs to uprgade to. I have a .10 over stock cyl shee... a local shop drag port, cpi small bores, VF3's and 155psi compression with a coolhead. on the stock carbs with and airbox and a 340 main the things runs sick, think i even needed more jet. I got a recommendation to get Mikuni 34 flat slides! Now i just wanted to think about what some of you guru's thought before i spent the coin. I typically like to ride sand hills and flat out wide trails. Also at sea level. Thanks for any info...

Im actually gonna stick with my 22cc domes or maybe go 21cc, gonna keep it pump gas. Thinking of upgrading to a 28mm pwk carbs though. 32:1 ratio with castrol TTS oil...

Hey Guys, I totally reworked the bike over the past few wks and need help on some new jetting. Heres the changes... Paul Turner Mids TO CPI Sb if's Stock piston TO Wiseco .20 over No port TO Aggressive Dune port 22cc domes to 17cc domes. The old jetting ( Stock carbs) M-300 P- Stock N Position- Clips from top Air screws- 2 turns out Bike is ridden @ sea level and its gettting into the 30 degree mark over here If any more info is need, ask and ill give it to you. Im dont get alot of time to test the bike so i want to try to get it as close as i can before i even fire it up the first time. Thanks

Just wondering if anybody interchanges diff silencers with diff pipes. I want to put a set of T5 silencers on my shee but have Paul turner mid pipes. Will then line up? Will i gain any more topend possibly. Thanks guys

Ive had my quad almost a month now and only rode it for about an hr. I just cant find anywhere to ride. Its been a while and alll the old spots are no good. Anyone on the island help a brother out with some good spots. PM the details if you must. THanks

I hear what you guys are saying. Mainly the pipes i see ion banshees in my area are FMF and T5's anyway. I honestly wont be doing the 4mill and port work till after the winter unless my motor blows up sooner. I'll stick with the pauls turners for now or try to get a set of Toomeys cheap. Thanks again

I hear you bud. I mainly ride in sand mining pits(nothing like dunes) and do a bit of trails also.... But im not very concerned with being all that fast in the trails. I love the top end...

Just a few questions fellas. I have a set of Paul turner Mid pipes. Would my setup see any benefit to a set of shearers of CPI inframes? Will list specs below Bored .20 over No Port work Pro Design Cool head Paul Turner Mid Pipes V Force 3's Pro Flow adaptor to Pro design filter(no airbox lid) Timing +4 Stock Carbs(300 Mains, Stock Pilot, 3rd clip needle) i have a 14-41 gearing also if that makes a diff New to the banshee world so i hope i gave enough / right Info. I do plan on in the near future going with a 4 mil and a port job that i see is very common on the site here. I only ask because i can get a set of Cpi's for a good deal right now. Thanks

Thanks for the input guys. I thought it seemed low also. I found that stock is about 125. So this weekend im gonna check my guage and also pull the head off and see what domes i have. I really dont want to rebuild this thing till after the winter. I mean its running awesome right now.
