  2. Neither of those guys are on here to best of my knowledge. The red shee or the one videoing is an older guy they call MotoBill and then the white one is a 15 year old kid whose not half bad!
  3. Junk the R6 shock whether its you or your buddy. Don't waste your time!
  4. Yes as of now the Shell Lake is a go but truthfully how can I say that when we have not a bit of ice. So I guess a better answer is that everything is in line for there to be two races in Shell Lake as long as weather is permitting.
  5. If your located in Eastern or Central WI CWIRA posted their schedule which is as follows : Jan 6 - Freemont WI Jan 12 - Neilsville WI - Moose Endurance Race Jan 13 - Neilsville WI Jan 20 - Hatfield WI Jan 27 - Rock Dam WI Feb 3 - Tomah WI - Mid Season Championship Feb 10 - Weyauwega WI - FIRE ON ICE (SPEED CHANNEL) Feb 17 - Dexterville WI - Wisconsin State Ice Racing Championship Feb 24 - TBD This is top tier Ice Racing at its best! If your pockets are deep and your balls are big, come give it a try!
  6. You can check out SWIRA. Last year wasnt the best for them but this year they say they are having a season so you could always try this out. Not really sure how much closer Fort Atkinson is to you than any of these others but Im assuming a lil bit at least.
  7. If anyone is located in WI and looking for a good series to race with or just give a try take a look at these guys. 8. who did the porting on the shee you have now??
  9. Good to hear man but no not really. Not too many people get rid of thier shee stuff. Hoard that shit for life!! Might know of some j arm frames but thats about it lol
  10. Porting? Whats porting? Haha and im not trying to scare ya off I just see the his bros quad and all i see is $$$$$$$$$$ and thats on a 4 poke and I know how far that same amount of money can get you with a 2 stroke
  11. But after looking at your profile mhoksch i see that you have a 4 mil and Ryder mentioned a 4 mil as well so I think the both of you would be a perfect fit to race each other in open pro. Id leave amateur open to us stock guys lol
  12. Yeah theres not a whole lot dirt tracking. There is one outside of Wausau called Monster Hall I believe. And idk if theirs one near Colby or not either. I think this one is called Central Wisconsin Speedway and the other is Central Wisconsin Raceway. But just speaking on my behalf, No I do not. I ride 16 times a year at best. Saturdays and Sundays in Jan and Feb other than that the shee stays under its cover in the corner of the shop. To be honest my shee has never touched anything but a frozen lake and the shop floor. Idk if Ryder does at all but I know his bro races EDT which is a national circuit for TT over the summer.
  13. If your thinking of CW check out the ever barring 2 stroke rule #33. This is the limits that shees are under. It can not be bored over .12" or 3.04mm. If your stroked your displacement can not exceed the displacement of a stock stroke motor that is bore the max over. .120". If you calculate this out that means that no matter what a banshee CAN NOT EXCEED 381cc!! So in other words if you have a 4mil than you can only be bored .02 over. As for db I wouldnt be worried to much. On saturdays we get teched every weekend at the highest ive ever reached is 93 but usually Im around 89. Its more the four pokes that their worried about. We scream they roar lol But the same with me. I havent ridden on anything but ice in the past four years but I hear nothing but good things about the "northwoods". As well Id check out the UP there is endless miles of trail riding.
  14. haha yeah I hear ya. Nothing worse than knowing at the start of the race the best you can do is 2nd!! But dont worry the ICE GODS dont race in every studded class. Just stick to the amateur class, thats what i do
  15. Might have to try that out this year Ryder But just as a bit of advice for everyone, if Ryder says it, id take his word for it. Unless someone thinks that they are better and can beat the unbeatable duo than hope to see you this winter racing in WI. Im not convinced yet that it can be done!!
  16. Check out CWIRA they are the closet to you. There is an Swira but last year becasue of the weather they didnt run a race at all. Your 4mil will be fine as long as your not bored at all. Check it out some of the most competitive ice racing in the mid west.
  17. Whered you move to in WI and what series are you thinking of ice racing with? There are few different ones in WI. But like RRL said the R6 shock sucks big time. I had a -2 swinger with the R6 and it was the worst choice ive made. Now im back to revalved rear with the stock swinger. PRob going back to -2 with stock rear shock. But YES a swaybar is a must! You made the right choice on the rear but like said the canadian studs are illegal for all racing here in WI. For the front its basically up to you. Ive seen the sand star mohawk whcich is the new thing but than ive also seen the dude who seems to be unbeatable use 6ply Kenda Kutters I think they were. So thats all preferance. but for your front the elkas should be fine. Most people I see either have PEP or AXIS. But if you do choose your rear setup a lowering link (stk "wishbone") would work as well if you feel you arent low enough. But rememeber you want the front a lil bit higher than the rear. This helps with weight transfer and will give yo the best bite. Also if I was you I would try to find a series that you would like to race with that is close to you because most series, all to my knowledge, only have a max of 50" wide and with that +4 axle that might put you over the limit. Im not sure just saying. Better to be safe than to get there and not be able to race. As well if your racing CWIRA they have restrictions of shees. In one of the classes you cant be over 381cc and I know you cant run powervalves on shees no matter what class you are in. But good luck getting the shee ready and hope to see you on the ice this year!!
  18. Agreed. If you want to actually compete than get yourself good ice tires. Chen shin rears and I guess the new thing is the mohawk fronts studded. More than it is your motor its your set up man!!
  19. Wow, ive never seen anyone freak out before on an offer just to pull them off the market! :rotflmao:
  20. Hey I dont participate in this although I know quite a few people who I race with in the CWIRA do. Some race the complete series while many others just attend a few of them. I would go to there website and maybe check their forums and post on there. That series is full of budgetless diehards, so id give them a try!
  21. If you have a 4 mil plus porting you should be over 65HP!! No problem
