I just finished jetting my banshee, mods are full pro circuit exhaust, vf3 tors delete and mq intake. I started off with the needle 1 clip up, 27.5s and 280s. Ran very rich, only ran good up top. Switched to 270s, 25s and stock needle position. The plugs look much much better now, but I am still getting some hesitation down low, similar to what I was getting before. Is it possible that the issue isn't jetting related? Also, the right side plug looks SLIGHTLY more lean then the left, any possible reason for that? Any help is appreciated! Lee

Ended up taking this as a partial trade on a yfz 450 I was selling, and let me say that this thing is AWESOME, starts easily (for a 500!) idles all day. NASTY fast. The one mod it does have is an aftermarket silencer however the original one will come along with the quad so you can have a 100% quadzilla original if you'd like! It received all new plastics about 6 months ago and they are flawless. the only reason I am selling this is that I only really need one quad, however I MIGHT entertain trades for an equally clean banshee. I have a clean and clear title! You won't find a cleaner quadzilla at this price! Asking $2500 Feel free to call me with any questions! Lee 443-986-3653

Hey guys, I just did vf3's, full exhaust and an intake, I put in 280's and 27.5's as a starting point, started up fine, probably need to move down to 270's but regardless. After having the carbs apart, the right side carb (without the choke) is now leaking fuel out of the drain tube as if the float were stuck. Everything is put back together correctly and both floats were free, didn't have this problem before the bike was apart. Any ideas? Also, I did notice that in the left carb, there is a small brass tube coming down from the carb into the bowl area, it is pressed in. I am not referring to the one on the actually bottom bowl piece. As both of them have that, but I noticed my right carb is missing the tube. I've checked parts diagrams and search for pics but nothing comes up, I am guessing that it had something to do with the choke but wanted to post up to be sure! Any input is appreciated! Thanks! Lee

Agreed haha, the only banshee I had ridden was the stock one I owned now, I had a 4mil stroker banshee but only got to ride it for a few hours before the clutch broke and then when I found a deal on my 05 bone stock SE decided to partout. Just did reeds, pipes, silencers and an intake on my banshee, jetting it today so I'm sure it will be a good bit quicker! Regardless, ended up taking a partial trade on this for a quadzilla which I am posting FS now, it is a BLAST to drive but I can only keep one and I'm sticking with the banshee -
Most of the people that say banshee's aren't fun/fast on trails, haven't ridden one before. They can be VERY fast on trails, not every banshee has to be a drag ported street quad! A simple piped banshee has a nice trail powerband, sure it won't have the low end of a 4stroke but you already know that, the style of powerband is pretty much identical to your blaster, just more power all the way through! Selling my 03 Roller, I will have the motor and some other parts up within the next couple days. Let me start by saying the only things I removed are the killswitch, motor, exhaust and carbs. That is literally all you need to get it running. Still has all plastics, gas tank, radiator, everything you see pictured! It is pretty dirty but don't let it fool you, minus one crack in the rear plastic it is in very good shape! The frame has an awesome blue powdercoat job. No title but will come with the bill of sale from the guy I bought it from aswell as one from me. I am asking $700 picked up, Don't really want to deal with shipping it. I need to downsize my quad collection so it is time to let one of my favorites go Let me start by saying, this is the absolute FASTEST quad I have ever owned or ridden. It is professionally built by cycle works racing in Hanover PA. It is an 05, with a clean title, only top of the line mods were used! I am way to busy with all of my cars to ride this enough to justify keeping it. It has about 15 hours on it since the build, the guy I bought it from, the original owner barely EVER rode it, it was garaged by both him and I. It has never seen rain, snow, or mud, when I did ride it, it was strictly on open trails. Come take a look, you will NOT be disappointed. plastics aren't scratched whatsoever, headlights look brand new, the seat looks like no one ever sat on it. Mods: Full CWR Motor ( CWR Race piston w/ 13:1 compression, CWR billet race cams, CWR valves + springs, CWR Ported Head, Race Timing Chain ) CWR Intake/carb Kit (jetted by CWR) Full GYTR Exhaust Full Chassis Underbody Skid Plate Renthal Bars Plus many more small mods!
