  1. I'd say you can't go wrong with that one. It's looks just like mine. Save and re-use your stock cap. The one they come with isn't the best your old stock one is better.
  2. Whats the benefit of this radiator over the other ones?
  3. One that doesn't leak haha. I don't know what else to say besides they are all over Ebay for pretty good deals and seem to all be very similar. I'd go by the sellers feedback. I believe I paid just over $100 for mine a couple years ago.
  4. I'm a sucker for a deal. This post is awesome. More people, sellers, builders, ect should do this. Thank you. I currently buy my clutch stuff piece by piece from my knowlege of yamaha's parts interchange but seriously it would be alot easier to just get it all at once from a supplier.
  5. Call me crazy but I think you will win this one. You should be able to get off the line faster with your +4 and the torque. He will be crippled by the stock swingarm and his T5's aren't gonna get him to the rpms the cub was ported for. Sounds like a good race though.
  6. My banshee is one of the easiest starting smokers I own in the cold? My alky 400 single basically has to be pull started if it's really cold.
  7. You got it boss. Just remember to cut them both EXACTLY the same. The tubing cutter makes this easy as long as your measurements are the same. I bought the tors cable like cam said but the ball ends wouldn't work with my slides.
  8. Forgot to add the crank is basically new prolly less then 5 hours on it and I just had 115 Hotrods put on it- most expensive cheap crank ever.
  9. I got a stock head thats custom cut 18cc. Your talking about taking material off the bottom of the jugs right? I wanted to do that from the start but guys were telling me not to. My guy said he could even make me a sleeve any size any port timing but I didn't even bother to ask how much that would cost.
  10. They are old Vitos stealth jugs. They are nicasil and they run great but I'd rather something more Serval like.
  11. *SOLVED* I used a mini tubing cutter and cut approx 1/8" off the ends. Full travel now! Figured I'd update this incase someone else runs into the same problem...PB
  12. I know a guy with a machine shop that would do the work at a sweet price but I have a bunch of questions and I'm looking for opinions, pro's and con's. Would it be possible to re-sleeve my 10mil jugs from a 68mm to 72mm? I've heard you need spacer plates top and bottom on stockers but they would just drop in my 10mil jugs without spacer plates correct? Finally are there sleeves out there with stock porting 68mm or up?
  13. I ran my ported stockers at 66 for 2 years. They were still at 155 psi when I retired them and the pistons looked fine. I also had an oversize rad and aftermarket impeller though.
  14. I know a guy who ran stock carbs on his 10mil. You'll be fine, start having fun right away.
  15. I wouldn't go longer then +4 but my trails are tight.
  16. When I bought the motor for my Blaster back in 07' it had been sitting for 27 years still on standard bore with bearings and seals from the factory. Ran great for about a year untill I re-built it.
  17. Stock carbs are fine to feed a trail piped, trail ported motor. I never seen any drawback to them on my old ported, PC piped 370cc motor.
  18. I like it brother. I def saved the pic to my archives. We need a vid!
  19. Yall need a engine size calculater app. Jes saying!
  20. Fuk it I'm calling out longWINDEDSHITYJOHN400wordsorless I will have a buddy drop me, my ride, toolbox, 2 sets of carbs, and 3 sets of tires via Chinook helocopper to the BHQ ride. Thanks for the drunkin PM on how to properly reply to a thread. I'm new to trying to help people, modifing things, and intraweb forums. This race will happen after all the others.
  21. Nice color combro brother I like it.
  22. I got one of those big boy toys myself. I run a cc racing 26. Good luck with the sale free bump!
  23. Subscribing for the outcome of the race. I know I kill them all day long in the 300ft with my shee.
