  1. Rite on Troy! Naw you know me always fucking with shit. I sent those jugs off to be re-sleeved. I bet your spare room looks like me spare room haha
  2. That frame would go so nice with my bike I think you should give it to me I mean what are you gonna do with such an ugly yella frame????
  3. Do you know what weight rider they are set-up for?
  4. Jugs shipped out today! I will let you guys know how it goes thanks for the advice with the head sealing and port timing. Hopefully I don't go broke saving a dollar.
  5. I talked to the guy who cut my stock head. He is gonna cut me a metal o-ring to go around the combustion chamber. Hopefully that helps.
  6. I talked to my guy who cut my stock head and told him of my troubles he is gonna cut me an o-ring groove around the combustion chamber. Hopefully it helps.
  7. You speak the truth. A while back I posted a thread on here about my shee massively overheating out of the blue one day. I checked eveything and now I believe my stock head was leaking just enough over time to boil it over. Fuk man now I don't know what to do.
  8. I'm in the dark on this one but if someone care to chime in. What porting specs would YOU go with for a big bore woods/MX style port? I was thinkin starting at 185ex/115int.
  9. I have no idea where he gets his sleeves from but yes he will blueprint and cut the ports himself I've seen it. I don't really want to step on someones toes and discuss pricing but it's a very good 'friend' price sir. Last time we talked I completely forgot to bring up those Vitos sleeves. What port timing do they come with? I wouldn't have a problem going that route and it seems like it would save the man alot of time.
  10. Aw man this guy has been doin it for 40 years lol. I talked to him a bunch of times already and he seem excited to do it. To back out now would almost be a dick move. About the exhaust port roof. He seems to think since the exhaust is pointing downward and he is installing a big sleeve that porting the sleeve to match the exhaust isn't going to be a problem even with the lowered timing.
  11. It's a price thing. Johns gonna re-sleeve these at about 1/2 the price of buying new jugs. He gonna put in custom sleeves any timing I want. Now I have some homework to do on what 'perfect' agressive trail port timing would be. Were gonna keep it at 68mm's so I can still use my old pistons.
  12. I used it to shield my pipe from the gas tank. No problems here.
  13. I know this is off topic but with my 79' YZ400 (1 year only motor) I had a carbide bore process done for more life before a re-bore.
  14. FAST sells the easy throttle springs if you need.
  15. I talked to my man and he said he would do the resleeving for and install custom blank sleeves (borable) any timing I want for what I would say is a VERY reasonable price. He said I could probably go to 70mm's before problems with the head studs. Aw man I love this sport so many options.
  16. I would include what I have 30-35mm intakes, stock cages with TDR carbon fiber reed petals.
  17. I'd trade you my Vitos 10 mil stealth jugs with HD Vitos forged pistons (new rings, pin, bearings built last year). The nicasil has been redone and has no flaking.
  18. I will call Vitos on Monday about that 10mil sleeve. It's most likely the only 10mil sleeve that doesn't aready come with drag race porting. Starting at 66mm's doesn't bother me that much. I wanted a 10mil stock cylinder a while back but it was more $ then it's worth. Your second option sounds right too though how much did they charge you for that service? Thanks mang
  19. I run a single but it has 9, 3 watt leds in it. Kinda like a single light bar but round. It's all I need but 2 would be insane.
  20. Ya need the plugs in thats about it. I can't see you being able to kick it over without being in the bike though. Kick it untill you get a max reading it will only go so high. If I wrong someone please say lol
  21. Thanks man. Yes they have the OEM bolt pattern for the head. If you go by what Windy said they are 198 ex 132 int.
