I assume you have heard of jetting. If your plugs are dripping gas when you try starting it then you are too rich. get a good selection of jets and read up on jetting

Of course! probably 1-3 jet sizes. get some jets and always do several plug checks thru a day of riding.

you are a asshole! read the for sale forum rules! there are only 15 sets of these pipes ever made and they came from K&T. If I had the $ I'd love to give them a try...... what did they cost new? take some better pics around the mounts and stuff to show the true condition of the pipes. no cracks etc. good seller here.

Take off your reed cages or your intakes and make sure your pistons are not in backwards, the windows should be facing the intake.

here is a 1986 lt 250 it has a brand new top end on it as of july 5th 2011, I also went thru the cases replacing all seals, gaskets, and several bearings, it has a brand new UNI filter, a 34 mm tmx mikuni flat slide, douglas red labels all around, fmf gold series pipe, it is a nice little bike and if you take care of it it will run for a long time. it is on its first bore so a 70.5mm piston, it can go up to 72 I am pretty sure. good little bike! $900
