Make sure you have your black choke tube between the two carbs. I for got to put mine in the other day and it would only push start.

I have been doing my own powder coating for a year now and if I was u I would powder coat whatever you can fit in your oven. Just prep it good and go to town. I go 400 drgrees for 20-25 min

Hay guys. I'm doing a green and black banshee. I'm just a kawasaki fan for life. But I was wanting to see if any of you guys went with a green and black or green and some other color. If you have pics I would love to see what you have came up with. Thanks. I'll post pics of mine some day. Thanks.

No air leak in the cr80 it was just low compression. I already rebuild it and it runs like new the compression was around 90. And after the new piston and rings it rips good I sold it to a friend for a play bike. And he likes it. But thanks.

90 - 95 is low I had a cr80 and it was only around 90. And it would run but once u wanted to get on the gas it was a turd with no power band. I rebuilt it and it screamed and it has a good powerband. I can't forget what the compression was after the rebuild on the cr 80. I was told the banshee should have around 120 compression.

If you don't have a key switch you need to cut them 2 wires and splice them together. Didn't know if u have done this or not but just thought I would add that and make sure you do have the wires spliced with no key switch.

I had a banshee project when I got it so I stared to buy parts. And when I was checking for spark it would only spark on the first kick. And that was it then I would let it sit for a few second. And it would spark again and then no spark and it keep doing this. So I never had a key switch hooked up. I didn't know it needed one or to be jumped my with the two wires because my zilla can run with out one. So I got a key switch and it would spark then I started to hook up all the wires and I still have the tors. If I have the tors little black box hooked up it would not spark unless I moved the throttle with that little switch in the caseing and I let off on the throttle and it would stop sparking just on that first kick it would spark so I unplugged the little black brain box for the tors and spark every time. With out moving the throttle switch. And I still have the key switch hooked up. So I don't know if this will help but good luck.

I do my own powder coating on parts that will fit in a house electric oven. And craigslist is a good place to find a good cheap oven. Around $50 or so. I built a nice little rack from rerod. I just powder coated my banshee nerf bars with harbor freight mate black and it looks good. But check out powder by the pound .com. A lot of awesome colors there.

I. Bought the wiseco pistons on ebay for $175 shipped. And where a very good deal best price on ebay for the brand. I would be still running them if my rod didn't brake and break the piston and sleeve and crack the jug. With only 5 hours on the top end. But the left side is still nice. But that $175 on ebay comes with bearings and topend gaskets. And some others don't and are more just for pistons.

I have the gopro hd wide and its vary nice. I payed $280 new for mine. I used to have the first gopro and used it for a week or to and return it for the HD the HD was $100 more. But can ues a 32gb. Good luck.

Hay I hate to brake the bad news to u but the $2000 obo is a little high. Is looks like a nice bike and I'm sure it runs good and I love kaw's. I have been riding kawasaki for 20+ years. I would try $1500 cash value . But leave the $2000 for trade value. Just to see if u get some offers. Just a little info to help u get it sold.

Ok thanks I did find them on ebay $90 shipped. I still might and see about making some. Just bending a little on a press and drilling a few holes. Has anyone bought these off ebay ? Do they work good and do u like the set up ? And did u make them so they didn't fully turn around ? And how ? Have any pics . Thanks.

HAY GUYS SNOW WILL BE COMING AGAIN SOON AND I WAS MAYBE THINKING OF MOUNTING SKIS ON THE FRONT HUBS OF MY BANSHEE OR LT500R. I HAVE STUDS IN A SPARE SET OF RIMS AND TRIES FOR MY LT500R . AND I WAS MAYBE SEEING IF SKIS WOULD BE BETTER ? I DONT RIDE THE ICE MUCH JUST AROUND ROADS AND FEILDS AND TRAILS.... AND WHEN I PULL THE FRONT END UP I DONT WANT THE SKIS TO TURN THE WORNG WAY SO IM NOT FOR SURE HOW TO STOP THEM BUT I HAVE ONE IDEA... SO I WANTED TO SEE IF I SHOULD STAY WITH THE STUDS OR GO WITH THE SKIS AND IF U HAVE DONE THIS CAN U PUT UP SOME PICS ....... SO I CAN GET SOME IDEAS .. THANKS

ok they dont sound like a good thing to go with . i didnt want to just go out and waste money so thats why i asked . i went riding one day and i lined my banshee up with a friends polaris predator 500 . and his was like 3-4" wider . and my lt500r is a lot wider to . so if i do i will go with wider a-arms or maybe off a yfz450 .. but thanks for all the replys guys .......
